The successful applicant will study for a Certificate of Higher Education in Pharmacy Technician Practice (L4). One day a week will be dedicated towards the study component of the course where candidates can study from home completing their interactive training modules. The remaining days will be spent in the workplace on the vocational part of the training. You will be expected to carry out some study in your own time to complete this course. In addition, competence-based workplace assessments will be carried out in the Pharmacy Department and on the wards. Once qualified, you will be able to register with the General Pharmaceutical Council as a Pharmacy Technician. You should want to work as part of a large team and have a keen desire to learn.
