What you’ll be doing

Working as our next Health Physics Monitor, your daily roles and responsibilities will include carrying out activities to support regulatory compliance primarily with the Ionising Radiations Regulations and Environmental Permitting Regulations.

The range of activities include, but are not limited to routine radiation and contamination surveys, radioactive source accountancy, radiation and contamination instrument first line repairs and calibrations, clearance monitoring, environmental monitoring, sampling and analysis of radioactive effluents, solid radioactive waste processing, on-job monitoring for Operations and Maintenance as required.

You will also be required to participate in the nuclear emergency scheme and will receive suitable remuneration for this.

Who you are

We’re looking for you to hold a basic understanding of legislation and company processes relevant to Radiological Protection. As a minimum as well, you will be qualified to GCSE level or higher within relevant fields including Mathematics and English and candidates with a C&G in Radiation Safety Stage 1 will have a distinct advantage. Additional qualifications supporting knowledge in a role like this would be desirable.

Previous experience of working within a Radiological Protection environment along with a strong understanding of radiation safety practice in the nuclear field would be desirable.

We are looking to recruit a Multi Skilled Engineering Technician to join our Bridgwater Dairy within our Muller Milk & Ingredients business. As a Multi Skilled Engineering Technician you’ll provide, safe front line reactive maintenance. Actively identify root cause and bring the equipment back in to service as quickly as possible as well as actively seeking and identifying cost effective improvements to site assets and equipment, improving efficiency and reliability.
Key responsibilities as Multi-Skilled Engineer:

- To ensure effective handover of information across shift
- Uses PMS to support prioritisation and problem solving (RCFA)
- To diagnose faults and to test , repair and maintain Mechanical / Electrical equipment
- To observe, recognise and report on machinery or component defects or symptoms of impending failure and provide CMMS data
- Contact OEM's and other suppliers for technical support as and when required and expedite parts when not available on site
- Lead shift based problem solving where corrective actions aren't clear

- Identify & implement Improvements

Main Responsibilities

• Level 3 Apprentice trained or ONC/NVQ Level 3 in Mechanical Engineering would prove highly beneficial although not essential as QBE (Qualified by Experience) is essential in this role
• Knowledge of maintenance practices – electrical / hydraulic / pneumatic systems would prove highly advantageous along with welding

We are looking for a well organised, practical and understanding individual to join the Academy as a Technician. Predominantly supporting Design and Technology but also supporting the Horticulture and Art departments when required. Manpower are recruiting for a Van Driver / Service Technician to work for a reputable company performing deliveries around the Bridgwater & Taunton area.

Driving a van you will be responsible for delivering gas canisters to vulnerable people's homes and installing and servicing home breathing apparatus. You will be required to move the oxygen canisters from the van into people's home, therefore heavy lifting will be required.

The ideal candidate will hold a full UK category B driving licence with no more than 3 points.

A DBS check is required for this role.

Main purpose of a Vehicle Technician

To assess, recommend and complete mechanical repairs to enhance the value of wholesale remarketing vehicles.

Your key responsibilities as a Vehicle Technician:

- To complete mechanical repairs in line with approved methods.
- To work productively ensuring repairs are completed within the deadline and work prioritised to achieve maximum efficiency.
- To highlight when repairs are not possible, or an alternative solution is required.
- To have a high attention to detail and to escalate where repairs could be completed more cost effectively.
- To maintain a high level of housekeeping and cleanliness within workspaces.
- To ensure standard operating procedures are rigorously followed and documentation completed accurately.
- To undertake other duties as requested by your manager.

To be successful as a Vehicle Technician, you'll bring some of the following experience with you:

- Experienced Level 3 Mechanical Technician.
- A broad understanding of cars and LCVs, the ability to observe, diagnose and repair mechanical faults and vehicle servicing.
- A clear team ethic being able to focus on immediate technical tasks as well as understanding work in all departments must been balanced to achieve the business' overall goals.

Provide medicines optimisation to PCN patient population related to hypertension and lipid management Work across the PCN as required to ensure a consistent approach with regards to medicines optimisation and safe, effective, high quality patient care around hypertension and lipid management. To support, train and supervise the administrative staff involved in the preparation of repeat prescriptions in order to ensure high quality streamlined, safe and timely repeat prescribing. To support, train and supervise the administration staff with medicines reconciliation with regards to hypertension and lipid management. To contribute to the review and development of repeat prescribing protocols /Standard Operating Procedures to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of repeat prescribing systems. Support Structured Medication Reviews (SMRs) Support pharmacists by identifying and referring eligible patients for SMRs, based on the appropriate population cohorts as stipulated in the Network Contract DES (including patients with multimorbidity and/or prescribed inappropriate polypharmacy). Medicine information to practice staff and patients Assist pharmacists with provision of medication information for practice teams and patients within scope of competence with regards to hypertension and lipid management. Discuss medication issues with patients, centred on shared decision making. Primary and secondary care interface Develop relationships with other pharmacy technicians, pharmacists and members of the multi-disciplinary team to support integration of the pharmacy team across health and social care including primary care, community pharmacy, secondary care, and mental health, in order to ensure safe transfers of care and to proactively manage patients at high risk of medicine related harm to ensure continuity of care. Signposting Ensure that patients are referred to a healthcare professional for the right care where appropriate Liaise with Social Prescribers, Patient Engagement Team with regards to lifestyle and wellbeing and supporting people to make positive changes Repeat prescribing Work across the PCN as required to ensure a consistent approach with regards to repeat prescribing (e.g. eRD). Clinical Areas of Priority for the PCN Support clinical pharmacists / practices in identifying and supporting patients in the identified cohorts with their medication and refer for SMRs. Be able to develop competence in building and running searches specific to the defined cohorts Medicines safety Respond to MHRA alerts, set up searches to identify affected patients on the practice clinical systems and participate in actioning the alerts. Assist in the delivery of medicines optimisation and management incentive schemes, patient safety audits and medicines optimisation projects, disseminating the outcomes and results locally and nationally. To support, train & supervise the safe and effective repeat prescribing of high-risk medicines ensuring that regular monitoring as per local/shared care guidance is taking place Take a central role in ensuring the clinical aspects of shared care protocols are in place, and where relevant liaise with clinical pharmacists/practices / specialists to ensure continuation of safe practice within primary care setting. Implementation of local and national guidelines and formulary recommendations Work with local MMT, primary and secondary care colleagues to implement local and national guidelines where appropriate. Support the implementation of local and national prescribing policies and guidance within GP practices by undertaking clinical audits, supporting quality improvement measures and contributing to the QOF and enhanced services. Education and Training Provide education and training to primary healthcare team and healthcare students regarding medicines management of hypertension within scope of practice. The post-holder will be given opportunities to shadow other healthcare professionals and supported to develop and advance the role within the PCN pharmacy team, working both autonomously and in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team. Care Quality Commission (CQC) Work with the PCN team to ensure the protocols and professional practice are compliant with CQC standards where medicines are involved. Quality Control Technician

£26,300 per annum, plus bonus, Monday to Friday, 1pm Friday finish.

As the Quality Control Technician you will uphold the safety regulations of our client's company and inspect the production process to guarantee that all products meet quality expectations.this is 60% administration and 40% physical inspecting.

You will ensure that the finished goods meet the Customers requirements. As the role will be within a small team, you are expected to be flexible and capable of working in a fast paced environment.

Monday to Friday, only 8.00am - 4.30pm, and Friday 1pm finish.

£26,300 per annum, plus two bonuses, perm from day one.

Tasks and responsibilities

· Complete visual and dimensional inspection of finished parts.

· Manage the recording of process scrap data.

· Support the team with order dispatch and arranging collections.

· Create and manage concession forms and requests for customer orders.

· Ensure and manage the calibration of the equipment within both Quality and Production department.

· Support Purchasing and Finance with the management of stock and inventory as and when required.

· Completing Production documentation, ensuring it is correctly and fully complete.

Education and experience

· Minimum GCSE Grade C in Math's and English (or equivalent).

· Experience within a Quality focused position.

· Proficient in MS Office Programs.
