What you'll be doing;

• Conduct scheduled physical inspections by company Quality, Health, Safety and Environmental (QHSE) procedures
  
• Carry out operational Planned Preventive Maintenance (PPM) checks and report findings with the shift supervisor and maintenance supervisor
  
• Communicate clear instructions and information to MBT operatives to support operations and high emphasis will be placed on the plant availability and the performance of the biological process
  
• Record all defects and findings accordingly and assist with KPI data entry
  
• The Senior Technician is required to have an excellent understanding of the SCADA system and will be expected to independently fault-find and rectify issues via this and the plant's equipment
  
• Provide line management with specialist knowledge and hands-on expertise in rectifying and preventing problems such as equipment failure, material blockages and biological process inefficiencies
  
• Prepare both facilities for daily operation and carry out necessary pre-start equipment checks in conjunction with the shift supervisor

What you'll be doing;

• Drive, plan and manage daily operations of the maintenance department, servicing both the MRF and the MBT as well as to a lesser extent the Transfer Station, the Weighbridge and the HWRC. Role Overview:
The Mechanical Technician will join a dynamic, multi-skilled team at the Cranfield Precision site. The primary responsibilities involve the build, assembly, testing, and development of high-precision special purpose machinery and test equipment. This role also requires global travel for machine installation, upgrades, and service support at customer sites.
