Responsibility:

• Produce manufacturing models and drawings from architectural and design intent drawings for approval and construction
• Ensure all drawings and models are produced in line with manufacturing and drawing standards
• Adhere to specific project standards such as naming conventions, numbering protocols and standard details
• Ensure drawing check sheets are used before and during the drawing process
• Produce drawings within allocated time frames and budgets
• Report to Lead CAD Technician as and when required reporting any issues with design, costs or timeframes set
• Ensure critical dimensions are on all drawings
• Read and understand Architectural Specifications ensuring EES drawings adhere to the requirements, raising any deviations with Lead CAD Technician
• Ensure all ironmongery and equipment is detailed accurately
• Where relevant, use Internal and Architectural models to derive up to date drawing information
• Where relevant, output models in the required format for inclusion in the project model

• When modelling joinery ensure cutting lists are populated with component lists, ID's and panel sizes and that an ID tagged paper space has been produced

Supervisor Technician in Photography. Creative and Performing Arts. Full Time. 37 hours per week. Our mission is to equip people with the skills they need to be successful in education, in work and business and in their personal lives.An exciting opportunity has arisen for a full time Supervisor/Technician in Photography within our successful and highly creative Digital Arts curriculum area.We are seeking candidates who are highly skilled and knowledgeable in the following aspects of photography;Photography equipment Maintenance and RepairPhotography H&S/ COSH/ IOSH and Risk AssessmentsOrdering, cash handling and stock takingExhibitions, Framing and Show set upIndustry knowledge of film and digital cameras, film processing and printing, digital printing, studio lighting and Flash. You will be required to support the curriculum staff preparing materials and equipment and with in-class support, running studio open access and have a high standard of team working, organisational and communication skills.Working knowledge of Adobe Photoshop and Lightroom would be advantageous.Experience in an educational setting is desirable (FE and HE). You should have the following qualifications:Minimum Level 6 in a related subject with experience in the Photography sectorMinimum Level 2 in maths and English (GCSE Grade C or above, GCSE Grade 4 or above or equivalent). Reporting to the Programme Area Manager you will be responsible for supporting high quality teaching, learning and resources.
