- and right now we are looking to recruit for Technical Manager to join our team.
As the Technical Manager you will manage the day-to-day activities of a team of multi-skilled site engineers, organise contractors and ensure compliance on a range of pre-planned, reactive, and ad hoc maintenance work.
You will be required to provide diverse professional services to ensure that the facilities contained within the sites of responsibility are fully Statutory Compliant and Contract Compliant at all times in respect to the types of building service systems and associated ancillary plant and equipment items
Your main responsibilities:
- Provide the maintenance, service, and repair function on both a hands-on and appointment & supervision of external sub-contractor’s basis.
- Undertake cyclic maintenance and service works on a hands-on basis to satisfy those requirements as set out in the company’s computer aided test, inspection, maintenance, and service asset management plan.
- Populate and record asset condition and completed works detail relating to those works undertaken on a hands-on basis and which by requirement, form an integral part of the company’s computer aided test, inspection, maintenance, and service asset management plan.
- To populate and record completed technical checks and associated works detail using the company’s computer aided quality management system.
- To assist and support any of the Technical, Estates & Quality, Contract, and Health and Safety teams in respect to any reasonable technical request.
- To ensure that building service systems, associated items of plant, equipment and control systems are set and operated to an optimum to facilitate
What you’ll need to do the role:
- A thorough and in-depth knowledge of health, safety, quality, and welfare procedures
- A thorough and in-depth knowledge of electro-mechanical systems and electro-mechanical equipment statutory regulations and approved codes of practice
- Excellent hands-on skill and ability.
- Adequate skill and competency in the effective use of computer aided systems.
