We are an Australian owned meat processing plant based in Dandenong, currently building a state-of-the-art cattle processing facility. Experience and skills required for this role:

A strong level of mechanical aptitude and experience with conveyors, pneumatics, hydraulics and welding/Fabrication skills preferably in the food processing industry or similar.
Resolution of operational or technical equipment problems, to minimize processing interruptions resulting from equipment breakdowns and/or failures.
Willing to work overtime if required to complete a task.
Ability to work alone or as part of a team.
An excellent problem solver and have good analytical skills.
Maintaining clean work areas to ensure hygiene needs of site are met.

Remuneration
This is subject to your skills, qualifications and experience:
Entry level: $60,000 to $80,000 per annum + superannuation.
Industry skilled level: $80,000 to $100,000 per annum + superannuation.

The major duties of the STUDENT TRAINEE (Maintenance Worker) position include, but are not limited to, the following:

• Performs minor and/or rough carpentry repairs using simple measures and hand tools.
• Performs minor painting tasks using brushes and/or rollers.

In addition, competence-based workplace assessments will be carried out in the Pharmacy Department and on the wards. This will mean developing a responsible and professional attitude to performing skilled tasks in a safe, accurate and timely manner.
