The Health Technician assists with clinic flow, clinic stocking and performs various basic direct
patient care activities according to facility policy, and that do not require nursing licensure or
professional nursing education. He/she is also responsible for timely and accurate documentation
of care in the electronic medical record. This includes reporting of subjective/objective
information to ensure continuity between the health care team members. Some of the duties associated with this position include, but are not limited to the following:

• Ability to prepare patient and products for dressing changes and performs cast removals.

DUTIES:

• Identify and evaluate archeological deposits, architecture, features and artifacts within the context of their physical setting.
• Use Global Navigation Satellite System (GNSS) receivers, GIS and remote sensing techniques such as Photogrammetry, Light Detection and Ranging (LIDAR) and Ground Penetrating Radar (GPR) to acquire, analyze and display archeological data.
• Record and document archeological site information and assessments of site condition and integrity.
• Apply communication skills to coordinate and collaborate with colleagues, other park staff, supervisors and the public to ensure mutual understanding of assignments and objectives of cultural resource protection laws and policies.
• Prepare reports and other forms of written materials to document and communicate assignments, results, and management implications of cultural resource inventory and monitoring activities.

• Inspecting contractors operations to determine compliance with contract requirements.
• Establishing and maintaining horizontal and vertical control for construction contracts.
• Meeting with other district elements to assist in recommending solutions to engineering and management problems relating to acquisition of real estate rights-of-way, pipeline easements, setting soil boring locations.
• Utilize basic and advanced skills for use of land and hydrographic survey software and data collection hardware for the purpose of obtaining field data and producing work in final form.
• Using Global Positioning System (GPS) hardware and software to perform static and RTK surveys and when possible to layout and control construction, provide reference points, and lines for subsequent related work.
• Assisting project engineers in developing scopes of work, preparing Government estimates and technical specifications, and supervision and administration of contract survey work.

Major duties may include, but are not limited to:

• Assist with acute care licensed staff with the delivery of complex and specialized patient care in possible life-threatening situations.
• Recognize life-threating situations and act to correct emergent and urgent situations according to national/local policy and/or protocol after proper education, training and competency demonstrating knowledge skills, and abilities.
• Perform patient screening by observation-based and collecting patient information in collaboration with licensed personnel.
• Documents all observations and interventions appropriately in Electronic Health Record. Notifies licensed personnel of any observations outside of normal.
• Assist and support behavioral/psychiatric situations in the emergency setting include assisting licensed personnel with crisis intervention and with the management of aggressive or suicidal psychiatric patients, by providing one-to-one observations and applying prevention and management of disruptive behavior techniques (PMDB).
• Use communication techniques required to complete the questioners and templates approved for use in the ED, including active listening, restating, and mirroring.
• Maintain a safe and therapeutic environment for the patient while promoting a sense of worth and dignity under the supervision of the licensed personnel and maintains records.
