The successful candidates will have BTEC in Pharmaceutical Sciences and NVQ Level 3 in Pharmacy Services or equivalent. Hold a current professional registration as a Technician with the General Pharmaceutical Council and evidence of up-to-date CPD portfolio. You will be able to effectively work as part of a team, supporting all aspects of the supply and distribution of medications, to ensure the safe, timely and accurate provision of medication to patients. Confirm medication histories (medicines reconciliation) by appropriate means and with patient consent and liaise with the prescriber to ensure continuity of essential prescribed medicines. Undertake accurate Risk Assessments to ascertain whether patients may hold their medications In Possession or otherwise, recording appropriately. Respond to and process requests for medication in order to facilitate the process of drug administration and supply to patients and ensure the safe effective and timely use of medication by patients, whether Not In Possession or In Possession. Check prescriptions generated to ensure accuracy and process any out-of-date prescriptions. Ensure prescription are legal and valid before requesting supply. Responsible for ensuring medicines kept in Emergency Bags are properly maintained, replenished and regular checks are completed. Respond to MHRA drug alerts through facilitation of appropriate action within prison healthcare over an appropriate timeframe and to support any medication changes that occur as a result. Accurately input, process and file data, both computerised and paper based, to ensure accurate record keeping and to facilitate its timely retrieval. Contribute to the development of and support implementation of medicine management strategy and associated services and projects.

This post is eligible for a Golden Hello payment of £2,750 for new starters who are external to the Trust. This is payable in 3 instalments over a 2 year period. This payment is only eligible to new starters who do not already hold a contract of employment with the Trust.

To provide information and advice to patients and colleagues about medication and processes where appropriate.

As a Pharmacy Technician, you will be part of a highly motivated and skilled team who provide integrated healthcare (physical healthcare, mental health and substance misuse services).

You will support all aspects of the supply and distribution of medications, to ensure the safe, timely and accurate provision of medication to patients

You will ensure that all medications are ordered, via the electronic prescribing on SystmOne

You will be responsible for completing medication reconciliation for all new arrivals, complete ongoing medication optimisation support and reviews and take the lead on safe storage and use of medications

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

IT Resource Provision

To take responsibility for the successful delivery of hardware-related tasks:

- Helping staff to set up ICT equipment including laptops and projectors, amplifiers and interactive whiteboards

- Maintenance tasks, e.g. upgrading and maintaining staff laptops, desktops, cleaning equipment, replacing toner and drum cartridges in printers

- Routine tasks, e.g. filling printers with paper, monitoring equipment loan system, daily setup of ICT rooms

- Fault-finding operations, e.g. resolving hardware faults, clearing printer jams, liaise with external support agencies as required, e.g. RM, Capita, HP, Dell, Tasc Software and Cunninghams to resolve faults speedily

- Installation and setup of new equipment e.g. laptops, desktops, projectors, digital cameras, scanners, printers, video editing equipment

- Support staff and students in use of ICT resources e.g. laptops, projectors, digital cameras, camcorders and biometric systems

- Support staff and students with the virtual server environments and online systems including O365

To take responsibility for the successful delivery of software-related tasks:

- Installation, configuration of new/upgraded software

- Produce user guides and offer training and ad-hoc instruction to staff users

- On-going software monitoring and maintenance e.g. internal internet filtering software

ICT Support:

- To maintain a logging system for support requests from staff/pupils

- To ensure support calls with external support companies for both hardware and software issues are logged, and resolving issues with external support engineers

- To ensure technical assistance is provided at extra-curricular events

- Manage printing resources across the Academy

- Create new user accounts and assign appropriate permissions

- Assign staff and pupil passwords

- Provide support to the Academy in its use of media, from recording classes and events

- Maintain inventories, asset and security mark ICT equipment

- Support evening events at the Academy

- Ensure all desktops, laptops, visualisers and projectors are working and well maintained

- Carry out daily audit checks on equipment ensuring whole school is completed weekly

General:

- Attendance at staff meetings and INSET activities where relevant.

- To uphold and actively support the Academy's policies and procedures.

- Undertake any other duties which might be reasonably be regarded as within the responsibilities of the post, subject to the proviso that any changes of a permanent nature shall be incorporated into the job description in specific terms.

What you will be doing:

Facilities management across the Microlise Group to ensure optimal operations, a great customer and employee experience, as well as compliance with statutory requirements
Design and implement facilities improvement projects, collaborating with key stakeholders and suppliers

What we’re looking for:

Previous experience in a facilities management leadership role
Strong people management skills
Demonstrable experience of managing buildings and facilities
Demonstrable experience of development and successful execution of facilities projects
Experience of managing a busy facilities, HS& and facilities environmental function, including compliance
Skilful at managing suppliers and third parties, ensuring contracted goods and services are delivered
Expert knowledge of current facilities compliance and best practice, including ESOS, SECR, appropriate ISO standards and management systems
Experience of fleet management administration
Budget management and financial analysis skills
Ability to plan and prioritise projects, teamwork and tasks in a busy environment

Work Location:

Role Responsibilities

The Hotel Engineer will report to the hotel maintenance manager. This role encompasses a wide array of duties from repairing equipment, conducting routine checks, and ensuring safety standards are upheld to guarantee guests have a comfortable and safe stay.

• Maintenance and Repairs: Conduct routine inspections of the premises to identify and fix maintenance issues including HVAC, electrical, and plumbing systems. Respond promptly to maintenance emergencies, diagnosing issues efficiently to carry out repairs.
• Safety Compliance: Ensure that any risk to the safety of guests, staff and visitors is reported immediately and action taken to remove or reduce the risk.
• Support the maintenance manager in supervising contractors and vendors ensuring work is completed on time and meets the requisite standards where required.
• Guest Satisfaction: Collaborate with the front office team to promptly address guests’ maintenance complaints. Maintain a high level of professionalism and work to ensure the guests’ satisfaction.
• Administrative Duties: Keep detailed logs of all maintenance activities and repairs.

Key Requirements

Qualifications:

• Experience Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the hospitality industry. Qualifications/Certifications or Apprentice history in HVAC, plumbing, electrical, or other relevant fields will be an advantage.

Skills:

• Technical Skills: Proficient in understanding a wide range of hotel equipment and systems.
• Problem-Solving: Ability to troubleshoot issues efficiently and provide viable solutions.
