The post holder will lead and contribute to the clinical development of the service, leading on clinical transformation and wider support to adult inpatient mental health services. Provide direct professional supervision, support and management to the Occupational Therapy Staff.

Proven clinical, leadership and managerial skills to shape and drive Occupational Therapy Provision
Proven Occupational Therapy Skills and Experience to conduct specific assessments, formulation and interventions,
Commitment to working collaboratively with patients, their carers/families
A collaborative approach to working with our inpatient AHPs, the wider MDT and an ability to engage team members and others.

To develop, lead and provide highly specialised Occupational Therapy assessments and interventions within the Adult Mental Health Directorate
To provide professional advice and professional supervision as and when appropriate to occupational therapists and/or students. ensuring high quality Occupational Therapy is delivered across the directorate.
To represent Occupational Therapy at appropriate senior management meetings and contribute to the development of inpatient services within AMH
To work collaboratively with a variety of different agencies/professionals ensuring management and treatment meets the holistic needs, providing a well-coordinated care
