At Serco, we work with Asylum Accommodation and Support Services (AASC) to assist individuals through the asylum system, which includes providing them with temporary accommodation.
We have a fantastic opportunity within our Service Delivery team for an administrator who has a strong focus for attention to detail as well as delivering excellent customer service, possesses the ability to analyse information with a view to making informed decisions, a diligent, organised individual who can work under pressure and capable of prioritising workload and shifting priorities. This is a role suited for someone who is a team player but also could work under their own initiative but above all else, has an eagerness to learn and develop their own skillset.
You will be required to build effective relationships with key stakeholders, both internally and externally across the Asylum Accommodation and Support Services contract to ensure excellent service delivery standards. You will maintain data integrity of the IT systems to support performance reporting. You will be required to produce reports, briefings, and information updates to a high standard within limited timeframe.
Some of your other accountabilities will include:

Liaise with suppliers and sub-contractors, as required, to ensure fully compliant and effective transportation service

Scheduling and allocating workflows for collecting and transporting service users, as required by the contract

Receiving and processing accommodation and transport requests

Liaise with local authorities in respect of council tax payments

Ensure all responses to the Authority requests are completed within contractual timescales

Ensure appropriate scheduling and prioritising of repairs and defects to internal and external operatives, including correct category of work, timescales and correct recipient

Liaise with Property Negotiators and organise, schedule and chase outstanding works for the onboarding of new properties.
What you need to do the job
You will need the ability to successfully engage and create successful working relationships with both internal and external stakeholders. You will demonstrate effective time management skills and ability to manage and deliver a variety of priority tasks, prioritising own workload to meet specific timescales without prompt. Lastly, you need Strong ICT skills.
