• Ensure that all high-touch surfaces are regularly sanitized in accordance with health and safety guidelines.
• Empty bins, manage waste disposal, and ensure recycling is properly sorted.
• Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors; polish and buff floors as required.
• Replenish supplies in toilets and other areas as necessary, including soap, hand sanitizer, and toilet paper.

Requirements:

• Previous cleaning experience, preferably within a school or similar environment, is desirable but not essential.
• Good understanding of cleaning methods and equipment.
• Attention to detail, reliability, and the ability to work independently.
• Willingness to work additional hours when required, including during school holidays for deep cleaning.
• Ability to communicate effectively with staff and colleagues.

Are you an experienced Cleaner looking for additional hours? We are looking for a Cleaner to start as soon as possible for a new contract on a temp to perm basis for a national cleaning company.

The role is in an office in the Derriford area of Plymouth and will be temp to perm for the right person , the role will be starting on the 6th of September

  Job role & Responsibilities

  • Dusting, sweeping, vacuum, mopping and empty waste bins.
    
  • Wipe down desks and chairs, making sure stubborn smears are removed.
    
  • Clean toilets, urinals and hand basins.
    
  • Replenish consumable items (soap, toilet rolls, paper towels, etc.).
    
  • Move equipment and furniture for the purpose of storage or office re-arranging.

Job Role:
