As a Cleaning Supervisor, you will be the main point of contact for clients and managers on site. • Develop the sector team to ensure personnel have the training and mentoring to work effectively and in line with the sector growth strategy.

What we're looking for;

• An experienced decommissioning/demolition specialist with extensive knowledge of the UK Nuclear Sector.
  
• To hold or achieve as a minimum, national security check vetting clearance (SC Clearance) to be able to work with MOD sites.
  
• Be familiar with and have experience in dealing with and managing commercial contracts relevant to the UK Nuclear Sector and ideally a Member of the Nuclear Institute.

Please see below some frequently asked questions to tell you more about our role: 1. What hours would I work? This can depend on the building you work in. Some of our cleaners start at 6am to ensure the building is ready to open for the day ahead. Some of our cleaners work afternoons from 3pm or 4pm onwards. We provide a service from 6am until 7pm Monday to Friday and the vacancies we have can vary between these hours.

2. Would I work alone or in a team? This can depend on your location of work; some cleaners work alone, and some cleaners work as a team to get the job done.

3. What type of tasks will I do? All our cleaners have a list of tasks to follow each day. These tasks can vary from hoovering, mopping, polishing, cleaning toilets and emptying bins.

4. Do I need experience? No, we provide full training to ensure all our cleaners can carry out each task safely and to the best standard, using the equipment and chemicals provided.

5. Do you provide a uniform? Yes, we provide a full uniform to wear daily. All you would need to provide is adequate footwear.

6. What type of building would I be cleaning? Our department cleans lots of different types of buildings for the Council. These include depots, schools, libraries, offices and homelessness accommodations.
Our ideal cleaner will:

• Have brilliant organisational skills and attention to detail
• Enjoy working in a hands-on role
• Have a flexible approach to working
