We are looking for a caring, nurturing Teaching Assistant to join our team. You will spend two days a week in our nursery class, you will be supporting pupils aged from two up to when they start reception at four years old.

You will spend the other three days a week supporting pupils of various ages as part of our “Rockpool” - Targeted Mainstream Provision (TMP) for children with an Education Health Care Plan (EHCP) for the primary need of Social, Emotional and Mental Health.

The provision for each child is tailored to their individual needs, with academic input, work on their EHCP targets, and addressing the gaps in their Boxall profile. Each bespoke timetable created by senior staff will ensure that gaps in each child’s development will be reduced and that their strengths and abilities are nurtured and allowed to flourish within a small, safe environment.

Qualifications and Experience:

Thank you for your interest in our vacancy for a Teaching Assistant. Our Governing Body is seeking to appoint an inspirational teaching assistant to enhance our Teaching and Learning Team. This is a permanent post to work alongside Key Stage One teaching staff to provide learning support in one of our Key Stage One classes. The post is 27.5 GTA hours (Monday to Friday 8.45am – 3.30pm) with a 30 minute lunch break plus 0.75 hours per day MSA duties. Both roles will be on scale SCP 2.
