• Subject matter expert on Freedom of Information Act (FOIA), Privacy Act and Civil Liberties. Represents the Base Architect/Engineer at meetings and conferences with HQ ANG and intermediate command staff, Commanders and staff representatives of tenant organizations, Division and District Engineer representatives of the Corps of Engineers and Naval Facilities Engineering Command, metropolitan airports commission staff; FAA, Veterans Administration, highway department representatives; Federal, states, and city Environmental Protection Agency representatives. Coordinates on plans, exchanges information, recommends policy or procedures and keeps apprised of new architecture and engineering developments. Makes decisions in line with prior ANG Base policy and planning, such as priority of new construction, acceptance of completed work, facility disposal, real estate acquisition, utilization, or disposal actions. 4. Provides technical instructions and information on architectural, engineering and other technical requirements and assigns phases of projects to subordinate architects, engineers, engineering technicians, and draftsmen. 5. Through subordinate supervisors, directs approximately twenty-five or more civilian and military employees engaged in readiness, Crash-Fire-Rescue engineering design, explosive ordnance disposal engineering, and operational facility maintenance duties and is responsible for providing training and facilities for the OJT and proficiency training of approximately 100 drill status officers and airmen. Exercises personnel management responsibilities normally found in positions at this level including identification of training needs for supervisors and technical staff members. Performs other duties as assigned.

• Conducts research and completes purchase requests for supplies/equipment for multiple Resident Agencies. Serves as a Government Purchase Card cardholder for the field office, maintaining records of all procurement actions and ensuring compliance.
• Serves as the office property custodian for multiple Resident Agencies; inventories accountable property and equipment; disposes of excess property; conducts annual accountable property inspections.
• Supports the AO with managing the field office GOV fleet, including assisting multiple Resident Agencies with ordering new and replacement GOVs, manage license plate registrations/renewals, monitoring preventative maintenance and service requests.

Ensures dishwashers are clean and in working condition.

Cleans vanities, mirrors, hardware, cabinets/shelving, toilets, bath tubs/shower stalls, tile, and bathroom exhaust fans. Replaces bathroom terry and linens to include shower curtains.

Cleans irons, removes excess water and replaces as necessary, cleans ironing boards and replaces covers as necessary, cleans and ensures proper functionality of luggage racks and ensures proper numbers of clean male/female hangers are available in closets.

Cleans washers and dryers and ensures machines are operational.

Ensures in-room guest directories are clean and organized, TV's are clean and programmed to proper channel and volume, alarm clocks are properly programmed with back-up battery and in-room phones are clean, properly programmed, and in working condition.

Cleans common area spaces to include vending rooms and ice machines, laundry rooms, elevators, break rooms, walkways, corridors, stairwells, office spaces, lounges, storerooms and storage spaces.

Performs deep cleaning as required by program standards (e.g. on a scheduled basis and upon check-out of guests in "pet friendly" rooms and in rooms that had an ADA service animal), which includes, but is not limited to: defrosting the refrigerator, cleaning windows (inside and out), replacing and/or cleaning drapes, moving furniture and cleaning normally hidden areas, carpet cleaning (shampoo and/or spot treatment), cleaning walls/woodwork, and other such tasks.

This position is required to do considerable standing, bending, kneeling, walking, pushing, pulling, lifting, stretching and climbing. Must have ability to perform moderately strenuous physical labor as unassisted lifting, moving and carrying of supplies and equipment weighing up to 45 pounds is required. Assisted lifting, moving and carrying in excess of 45 pounds may be required. May be required to climb/descend stairs and properly placed stepladders.

Work is primarily performed indoors in areas that normally have adequate heat, light, and ventilation.
