About the Role

Our stores operate 24 hours per day, 7 days per week, with that brings a wide variety of shift patterns - if you're looking for flexible working to fit around your lifestyle, then look no further! We'll work with you on your shifts, but weekend working is a requirement of the role and we may need to be flexible with your work pattern.

There's a role for everyone in retail. We put our customers first with excellent service, welcoming stores and ‘extra special' products - we work as a team to deliver a great shopping trip through clean and well-maintained stores.  As a Cleaning Colleague, you will be responsible for completing daily cleaning tasks and working alongside the whole store team to maintain the highest standards for our customers. 

About You 

You'll be naturally friendly and want to get stuck in, working with your team to deliver great results. You'll have an enthusiastic approach to learning new skills across different departments. Full training will be provided including how to operate cleaning machinery. You will care about giving customers a great shopping experience, through maintaining the highest cleaning standards across the store, both inside and out. You will be a strong communicator, enabling you to respond to unexpected requests promptly and handle any customer queries that arise.

About The Role
At OCS, our cleaners play an important part in providing safe, clean environments in which our customers can thrive in their workspaces. You will be carrying out a range of cleaning activities including mopping, sweeping, dusting, emptying bins and cleaning washrooms.

You will be working Monday to Friday from 05:30 to 11:30, 30 hours per week

You'll also:

• Make sure that areas are always cleaned to the highest standards.
• Always work safely.
• Make sure equipment is cleaned, maintained, and stored correctly.

Your new role
As General Operative machinery and equipment used in manufacturing. Assist in the manufacturing process of steel products. Conduct routine checks and maintenance of machinery. Adhere to safety protocols and company standards. Load and unload materials from machines. Assist in quality control by inspecting products for defects and reporting any issues. Collaborate with team members to meet production targets. Maintain a clean and safe working environment.
Days 8am - 4.30pm Mon - Fri


What you\'ll need to succeed
Previous experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in the steel industry. Knowledge of machinery operation and maintenance. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality. Ability to work in a team and communicate effectively. Physical stamina and strength to lift heavy items. Commitment to adhering to safety standards and protocols.
Forklift licence desirable.
