MAJOR TASKS

- To empty litter and recycling bins.
- The cleaning of all surfaces, internal glass, floors, furniture, fixtures and fittings within a group of buildings.
- The cleaning of all sanitary areas, toilets and showers and the replenishment of washroom consumables.
- Emergency and re-active cleaning as required, e.g. body fluid spillages, accidental spillages.
- The care and cleanliness of all equipment used in carrying out the above duties.
- Other tasks as may reasonably be required that relate to the role, including supporting cleaning tasks across other buildings where required.

The post holder will be required to deliver to the cleaning specification requirements and to cooperate with performance measurement so that the overall agreed standards are met.

*Facilities Management has overall responsibility for keyholding to enable opening and closing of buildings that we service. As part of the duties of a Cleaning Operative and in this particular role, you will be required to be a key holder to fulfil these tasks. This typically would include operation of security alarm systems when opening a building, closing accessible windows and doors, switching off lights and ensuring that premises are left safe and secure.

This post is regulated work with children and/or protected adults under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007. The preferred candidate will be required to join the PVG Scheme or undergo a PVG Scheme update check. Where an individual has spent a continuous period of 3 months or more out with the UK in the last 5 years, an Overseas Criminal Record Check will be required. You will be required to provide this check. What skills and experience we're looking for

Crestwood Community School is one school, with two campuses serving central Eastleigh. We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic and ambitious person as a General Teacher of KS3/KS4. About the role

We have an excellent opportunity available for a Casual Cleaner/Driver to join our team at Eastleigh.

You will be responsible for delivering and collecting hire vehicles to and from various locations in the local and surrounding areas, cleaning hire vehicles and completing any other role related tasks.

The hours will be as and when required.

About you

You must hold a full driving licence with a D1 driving licence category (vehicles with between 9 and 16 passengers) and a C1 driving licence category (Vehicles between 3500kg and 7500kg, with a trailer up to 750KG). A clean driving licence is preferred however minor points will be considered.

Salary: £23,087 - £23,388 per year(pro rata for part time and sessional).
Hours: 16 per week, 40 week sessional

3pm - 6pm Monday to Thursday; 2pm - 6pm Friday

As a cleaner with the City of Edinburgh Council, you'll be a key member of our Facilities Management team. You'll deliver a vital cleaning service across our estate to ensure our properties are safe and clean places to work or learn in. MAJOR TASKS

- To empty litter and recycling bins.
- The cleaning of all surfaces, internal glass, floors, furniture, fixtures and fittings within a group of buildings.
- The cleaning of all sanitary areas, toilets and showers and the replenishment of washroom consumables.
- Emergency and re-active cleaning as required, e.g. body fluid spillages, accidental spillages.
- The care and cleanliness of all equipment used in carrying out the above duties.
- Other tasks as may reasonably be required that relate to the role, including supporting cleaning tasks across other buildings where required.

The post holder will be required to deliver to the cleaning specification requirements and to cooperate with performance measurement so that the overall agreed standards are met.

*Facilities Management has overall responsibility for keyholding to enable opening and closing of buildings that we service. As part of the duties of a Cleaning Operative and in this particular role, you will be required to be a key holder to fulfil these tasks. This typically would include operation of security alarm systems when opening a building, closing accessible windows and doors, switching off lights and ensuring that premises are left safe and secure.

This post is regulated work with children and/or protected adults under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007. The preferred candidate will be required to join the PVG Scheme or undergo a PVG Scheme update check. Where an individual has spent a continuous period of 3 months or more out with the UK in the last 5 years, an Overseas Criminal Record Check will be required. You will be required to provide this check. An unconditional offer of employment and commencement in the post will be subject to the outcome of both these pre-employment checks being deemed satisfactory.

About the role

We have an excellent opportunity available for a Cleaner/Driver to join our team at Eastleigh.

You will be responsible for delivering and collecting hire vehicles to and from various locations in the local and surrounding areas, cleaning hire vehicles and completing any other role related tasks.

The successful candidate will earn circa £25,500 per annum.

About you

You must hold a full driving licence with a D1 driving licence category (vehicles with between 9 and 16 passengers) and a C1 driving licence category (Vehicles between 3500kg and 7500kg, with a trailer up to 750KG). A clean driving licence is preferred however minor points will be considered.

You will have the ability to work within given timescales, be able to work on one's own initiative as well as being a team member
