What you'll need to succeed


Previous Purchase Ledger experience is essential, you will have a keen eye for detail, and be able to solve any issues and meet deadlines. Your key responsibilities:

• Receiving and evaluating bids
• Preparing purchasing recommendations
• Review contractual terms and consult with category managers/procurement managers/legal if required.
• Initiate, issue, and administer purchase orders and contracts through predetermined procedures.
• Ensuring compliance with procurement requirements, policies, and procedures.
• Understand, implement, and comply with the company policies and ensure the same within the supplier base and implement corrective actions when appropriate.
• Collaboration with internal/external stakeholders to meet current needs and explore opportunities for mutual benefit and other potential innovation.
• Develop effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders that provide a stable foundation for future business opportunities.

Experience/Skills required:

• Demonstrated ability in standard procurement procedures and practices.
• The ability to work independently, with minimal supervision.
• Knowledge of ERP systems (SAP, Oracle), VMS systems (SAP Ariba) and ServiceNow
• Comprehension of contractual terms and conditions in conjunction with established procurement policies.
• Ability to work under pressure, prioritise workload and multitask.
