As a Program Operations Assistant you will:

• Serve as organizational point for the administration and maintenance of several integrated electronic administrative management tracking systems.
• Receive, read, and prepare responses to incoming correspondence as requested based upon content and topic.
• Perform administrative duties for seminars, small work groups, and conferences that involve Center staff.

• Provide direction and leadership to a team consisting of public health scientific policy, communication, and issues management staff.
• Plan and implement a comprehensive and integrated public health scientific program across the organizational unit and in concert with Center for Disease Control (CDC) goals and priorities.
• Cultivate and maintain relationships with other organizational units within CDC including other national centers, and offices within the CDC Office of the Director including coordinating centers.

• Laboratory Quality Control Specialist: Grades GS-11 through GS-12

• Coordinate the shipment of biological specimens to include special and hazardous items.
• Ensure proper packaging and adherence to local, state, and federal laws and regulations.
• Review customer requests for various shipments of hazardous, temperature sensitive, fragile, oversized, heavy haul, urgent, or other freight not covered by standing route orders.
• Arrange for complete routings to handle shipments with urgent delivery dates, or shipments to isolated origin or destination points that cannot be transported through normal channels.
• Conduct quality reviews according to procedural criteria established in quality review plans for determining adherence to standards outlined for clinical laboratory practices.
• Provide advice and consultation to functions performing biological or other scientific assessments concerning compliance with quality management systems, programs, regulatory guidelines, and standards.
• Improve control elements of the quality management program and quality laboratory quality management systems, including internal audit program, corrective and preventive actions, quality planning, document control, record management, support equipment calibration, staff training and data management functions.

As a Budget Analyst you will:

• Perform complex budget development, formulation and/or execution functions for substantive agency programs or administrative budget areas.

As a Counseling Psychologist, you will:

• Provide the full range of psychological services on an outpatient basis for individuals who have emotional or family relations problems, acute or chronic mental or behavioral health issues and to patients who are exhibiting a wide range of complex problems related to personal or interpersonal challenges or deficits.
