Scope of Work
Supports projects throughout the organization including both clinical and non-clinical areas to accomplish measurable quality improvement. Analyzes and measures the effectiveness of existing processes and helps to develop sustainable, repeatable and quantifiable clinical quality improvement. Collects and analyzes process and quality data to initiate, develop, and recommend operational practices and procedures that focus on enhanced quality outcomes.
- Supports and drives improvement activities for accountable areas based on organizational priorities (project management, measurable deliverables, milestones, and data informed strategy).
- Serves as a liaison between various departments across the Corewell Health System. Communicates, collaborates, networks with and acts as a change agent to key stakeholders. Also ensures continuity and coordination of services with appropriate utilization of resources. Responsible for stakeholder management across collaboration within department and organizational resources.
- Drives continuous assessment and improvements using appropriate tools and methodology within the business, assists stakeholders and process owners in prioritizing improvement opportunities.
- Competent at improvement science to drive quality performance in regulatory, accreditation and publicly-reported programs.
- Analyze, interpret and communicate benchmarked quality data and trends to identify opportunities and improve outcomes.
- Continuously develop quality improvement knowledge and skills for the organization.
- Support strategic quality goal setting to influence strategic priorities.
- Support compliance of accreditation/TJC for quality chapters.

Qualifications
- Required Associate's Degree or equivalent Healthcare related field
- Preferred Bachelor's Degree or equivalent Healthcare related field
- 2 years of relevant experience Quality improvement, performance improvement, project management or similar role Required
- 1 year of relevant experience Participation on improvement initiatives Preferred
- At least one Certification from preferred list - Institute for Healthcare Improvement (IHI), IHI Open School preferred
- Professional in Healthcare Quality, Certified (CPHQ) - NAHQ National Association for Healthcare Quality Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality (CPHQ) preferred
