About the role
Key duties and responsibilities include:
Collaborate with the General Manager on the development of the business strategy.
Develop and execute strategies to drive revenue growth and increase profitability.
Prepare budgets and regular reporting.
Work closely with the Head Chef to prepare menu concepts that align with the business strategy.
Oversee and participate in the recruitment, training and management of all restaurant employees.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
Assist in the development of operational procedures to ensure consistent levels of customer service.
Ensure the restaurant complies with all Safety, HR and other regulatory requirements.
A passion for delivering exceptional customer services and ability when required to handle customer complaints and feedback and action appropriately.

About You
A minimum of 4 years management experience in a full service a la carte establishment.
Demonstrated experience applying strategies resulting in the operation of a profitable restaurant.
Ability to assume full responsibility of restaurant (front and back of house) operations and work with limited supervision and guidance.
Self-motivated with a positive outlook and ability to solve problems on your feet.
Be a confident leader that can foster a supportive and fun workplace, motivate employees to achieve their best and delegate with confidence.
Hold a current Approved Managers Licence.
Hold a current ‘C’ Class Driver’s Licence.

The Head Chef will report directly to the Restaurant Manager and will be responsible for delivering high quality and creative cuisine that showcases the personality and produce of the region.

Your duties and responsibilities will include but not be limited to the following:


• Manage kitchen function ensuring compliance with Standard Operating Procedures, company culture, and optimum kitchen management to achieve higher customer satisfaction and net revenue.
• Working with the Restaurant Manager develop enticing a la carte menus that incorporate local, fresh, seasonal and native Australian produce, that caters to a range of dietary requirements and preferences.
• Contribute to the development and maintenance of a Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) manual, and other operational management plans as requested.
• Foster positive relationships and collaborate with group colleagues and management to meet business needs and achieve best practice outcomes.
• Ensure compliance with relevant legislative and company requirements.
• Deliver kitchen operations in-line with budget with a goal of meeting or exceeding targets.
• Approve relevant invoices and respond to queries in relation to kitchen financial operations.
• Induct, train, lead and motivate kitchen personnel. Prepare kitchen rosters in accordance with Hospitality Award, approve timesheets and leave ensuring adequate coverage.


About You

• Commercial cookery trade qualifications, and/ or a minimum of 4 years Head Chef or Senior Sous Chef experience in a full service, high volume a la carte establishment.
• Experience with menu development and cost analysis.
• A sound understanding of the Award requirements around rostering, meal breaks.
• Self-motivated with a positive outlook and ability to foster a strong, collaborative team culture.
• Safety first mindset with a strong working knowledge of the Food Safety Act, and awareness of Safety Management Systems.
• Experience in delivering training and leading a team to excel.
• Own transport and current “C” Class Driver’s Licence.
• Adaptable to change and ability to meet the dynamic needs of a full service kitchen operation.

• Responsible for FEP quality programs; lead and coordinate efforts to achieve quality program goals and maximize incentive performance for our organization.
• Engage matrixed teams across the organization to drive progress to QI goals (i.e. Health Plan Product Ratings, CAHPS) by leveraging expertise in related requirements. Develop roadmap to define specific actions to improved quality performance.  
• Works with Enterprise on developing and implementing HEDIS member engagement strategies.
• Works with leadership to provide information or data as requested.
• Facilitates and  coordinates the implementation and evaluation of identified quality improvement / HEDIS activities as requested.
• Promotes understanding, communication and coordination of all quality improvement program components.
• Coordinates reporting on quality initiatives to all appropriate committees.
• Assists with the development of the QM and UM Work Plan, Evaluation and the monitoring of Work Plan activities as they relate to PI.
• Maintains current knowledge of regulatory requirements associated with the QI program.  
• Utilize expertise in QM/QI theory and methodologies to build quality programs driven to member centric outcomes measurement.
• Use data and other insights to identify effective solutions for improving Commercial product quality performance, leveraging health plan historical performance and industry knowledge.
• Ensure ongoing monitoring and evaluation of programs and interventions to determine impact and ROI. Develop remediation strategies as needed. 
• Keep abreast of industry trends, both national and local, and synthesize such information to proactively identify ways to improve quality of care while concurrently ensuring all applicable accreditation and/or regulatory standards are met.
• Partner with provider network and engagement teams to drive quality improvements that positively impact patient care; provide oversight of quality performance measurement in support of these efforts.
• Oversee vendor relationships for applicable quality programs.
• Present results of improvement efforts and ongoing performance measures to senior leadership.

What You'll Bring

• Bachelor’s degree or advanced degree (nursing, social work, health care management, public health or other related field)
• 8+ years of experience in related field (quality management, healthcare operations management, clinical project/program management and/or clinical data management)
• In lieu of degree, 10+ years of experience in related field
• Knowledge of NCQA, HEDIS and CAHPS

GENERAL PURPOSE OF THE JOB

The Manager, Biomedical Quality is responsible for providing subject matter expertise on a variety of devices and systems in support of biomedical services across the Village. This position is responsible for training, auditing and collaborative problem solving for chronic or complex technical issues that arise in the dialysis clinics. This position partners with biomedical teammates across the Village to implement corrective action as the result of internal audits performed.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Perform technical spot audits. Lead or participate in the exploration, evaluation, and design of recommended solutions
• Optimize/re-mediate technical systems and processes by identifying appropriate goals & objectives, project plans, timelines, validation, deliverables and resources required to realize beneficial change to biomedical quality
• Educate and provide resources for biomedical best practices in conjunction with biomedical education department
• Identify and implement process improvements by analyzing technical data
• Collaborate with key stakeholders to ensure quality device management programs are in place and functional
• Other duties as assigned

Minimum of 6 years Biomed experience required

These positions will require 80% travel, 25% of the travel will include nights and weekends

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical, biomedical or mechanical technologies or engineering, strongly preferred
• 6-8 years’ experience preferred
• Intermediate computer skills sufficient to effectively use the Web, Word, Excel and Power Point , required
• Expert understanding of biomedical technical process to include facility specific P&P, environmental cultures, preventive maintenance records etc., required
• Excellent problem solving and analytical skills with a focus on root cause, required

Salary/ Wage Range

$62,200.00 - $91,300.00 / year
