This is an exciting opportunity to join the Radiology Department at Sherwood Forest Hospital as the IR(ME)R and governance lead. We are a friendly department and have high standards of quality, safety, and patient care.

This is a pivotal role in creating and maintaining a radiation safety culture across all members of staff within the department. Your knowledge and skills will support understanding of legal requirements and responsibilities involving IR(ME)R17 and IRR17 across the Trust and within the community.

The post holder will ensure that all aspects of our services operate within robust clinical governance and quality assurance guidelines to ensure a safe, compassionate service. They will be responsible for writing and updating policies, standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and maintaining the non-medical referrers database. They will work closely with the radiology management team, medical physics colleagues and the divisional governance lead to undertake investigations and follow up actions and recommendations. The post holder will be the departments representative at both departmental and divisional governance meetings, each held monthly.

The post holder will undertake some clinical duties in their speciality area.

The Role

As part of it’s continued growth within the Alight Kochi shared services division, Alight are now seeking a commercially minded Finance Specialist to join the R2R / controllership Finance team.

 

■   This role will be an integral part of a finance team dedicated to providing support to our growing operations. This role will actively manage the Country/ Entity Finance by producing and presenting insightful analysis that supports book closure and decision making.  The successful candidate must have the flexibility to deal with a wide range of client services.

 

 

 

Key Responsibilities

 

Financial Reporting/ Controllership Responsibilities

 

 

■   Ownership of legal entity Financial statements, ensuring adequate analysis and reviews, exercise judgment

■   Perform Month end close accounting & reporting  including  variance analysis and preparation of supporting commentary

■   Ownership of entity Balance Sheets, preparing balance sheet recons and identification and management of any potential risks

■   Audit & Compliance - Managing Entity Audit - Internal & Statutory audit support and completion

■   Review revenues, costs and profitability at client level and entity level operations

■   Monitor & Report on performance against forecasts & budgets

■   Identification of areas of risk, under-performance, improvement and opportunity and development of action plan to resolve

■   Preparation, Review and analysis of regional budgets

■   Ensure financial compliance with contracts

■   Involvement in Reporting requirements including Variance Reporting, KPI Reporting, Cash flow analysis, P&L and Balance sheet reviews

■   Monitor Debtors, creditors and accrued and deferred income

■   Supporting on-site business teams ( Accounts Executives, Accounts Directors, Finance Managers and Directors )

■   Identification of process improvements to support the management team and improve the delivery of information across the division

 

 

Other Responsibilities

■   Resolving ad-hoc queries from onsite counterparts within and outside the division

■   Completion of all process related MI’s and governance tools

■   Manage Support / cover for other members / team members of the finance team as required

■   Supervise and manage the entity accounting team

 

Candidate Profile

Essential Skills

■   Qualified Accountant with 12+ years relevant experience, qualified / Semi Qualified Accountant (CA/CWA/CIMA / ACCA ) or MBA in Finance  Minimum of 7-10 years’ relevant experience.

■   R2R / Core finance Domain expertise

■   Excellent communication & interpersonal skills

■   Strong organizational skills to ensure completion of multiple activities within tight reporting deadlines

■   Excellent Excel skills are vital given the nature of the responsibilities

■   Strong on finance fundamentals

■   Flexible to work in any shift timings

Position Summary:

Partner with Core Service Center (CSC) management team to build agency relationships and execute operational plans. Lead risk management operations in assigned area to achieve operational and departmental performance objectives. Direct and manage a staff of commercial, middle market field risk management employees.

Responsibilities:

• Manage, train, provide performance feedback and assign duties of direct reports to ensure productivity, efficiency, and effectiveness.

• Advance and support the Partners for Success strategy by enhancing the relationship between our agencies, their clients, and Amerisure.

• Identify, develop and deliver customized, innovative and creative risk management services and solutions that benefit agencies and create efficiency and profitability for Amerisure.

• Develop and implement service/loss ratio improvement plans by agency/account to ensure achievement of assigned CSC loss ratios.

• Collaborate with CSC management team to develop plans and address issues to ensure alignment with the strategic objectives of the organization and the business plans of the CSC.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree.

• 7 years of safety, risk management or engineering experience in the commercial insurance industry.

• 3 years of experience in a commercial insurance risk management leadership role preferred.

• Certified Safety Professional (CSP), Associate in Rick Management (ARM), and/or Certified Fire Protection Specialist (CFPS) designations preferred.

• Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.

• Demonstrated successful ability to build positive relationships and partnerships within department and across the organization.

• Excellent organizational skills, including ability to multi-task and prioritize workload.

• Excellent problem solving, critical thinking and decision making skills.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact with internal and external customers.

• Must have a valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.

• Ability to travel daily within assigned region, which includes driving between local and long distance locations.

• Ability to travel overnight up to 50%

     Will take leadership role in sustaining MCW KPI & Reader/Writer Sigma improvement roadmap. Scope will cover both Philippine and Thailand Head Operations.

• To play a strong partnership with Head PM and stakeholders and deliver Sigma enabler in time thru collaborative meetings. Play an active role in relevant discussions.
• To work closely with MCW targeting team, Head BE Lapping, DET Testing & Wafer process teams in sustaining & achieving component yield targets including closure on issues though Analytics and 8D methodology
• Prepare and submit MCW sigma roadmap, regularly assess detractors, define focus areas & opportunities. Convene relative teams and brainstorm.
• To work w/ Analytics team to explore advance solutions employing Machine Learning to improve both Mean and Sigma

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Gather team, brainstorm & define opportunities, gameplan and timetable
• Collect, analyze, interpret data to understand MCW failure modes including but not limited to Lapping and Wafer data
• Performs MCW process improvements review and FA is needed
• Propose process improvements to improve MCW KPI
• Interlock with DET, Head Back-end and Wafer Process engineering during process improvement execution
