Here at Serco, we are looking for a Compliance Officer for our Asylum Accommodation and Support Services Contract (AASC). We focus on providing a high standard of accommodation for the service users we house through a combination of both reactive and planned maintenance, completed by our team of multi skilled maintenance operatives and approved contractors.
It really is an exciting time to become part of our AASC contract as we embark on a significant period of growth! Working as part of our dedicated team, you will carry out compliance inspections of properties accommodating our service users, take ownership for collating data and producing performance reports, as well as:
- Conduct a full compliance review of any identified non compliances and liaise and support various departments to ensure compliance
- Work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders as required, such as Local Authorities, police, health services, other stakeholders and other teams within the AASC family
What you’ll need to do the role
First and foremost, you will have sufficient experience in using basic IT programmes, such as Word, Excel and Teams. Also, the drive to learn new systems to allow you to adapt into the role.
You must have proven analytical, influencing, persuading, and negotiating skills and experience and the abilities to build strong relationships.
Finally, you will be committed and dedicated to support across our Serco regions – you must hold a valid UK driver’s licence.
