The post holder will support the Business Intelligence Team to provide comprehensive and quality information support to the Trust. The post holder will deliver this support by running routine (daily and weekly) Data Quality reports and correcting any Data Quality issues, identifying new issues and responding to CCG challenges. The post holder must be able to use reporting services to identify discrepancies in Admitted Patient Care. The post holder will be required to demonstrate and develop a high level of understanding of the importance of Data Quality and Data Protection throughout the Trust including lending support to administrative staff and clinicians. The post holder will need to plan and organise their workload to meet the National timetable to respond to CCG queries. The delivery of this timeline is critical and the post holder will need to be able to juggle last minute requests and ad hoc pieces of work to ensure that the deadlines are met every month. The post holder will need to identify the nature of the query, investigate the data and identify whether the challenge is correct. This may entail liaising with key personnel within the service areas to confirm the activity that occurred, often mentoring staff to support training needs where there are frequent challenges occurring. The post holder may be required to create reports that are presented to the relevant data quality group, identifying key trends in challenges and DQ where there may be opportunity to carry out training to support correct data entry at source. The post holder will be responsible for maintaining the Admitted Patient Care information held on the Patient Administration System (PAS), this includes Admissions, Transfers and Discharges. They must ensure the accuracy and data quality of this information which is essential for Payment by Results and internal and external reporting. The role will involve investigating processes relating to data capture and entry into systems. Duties will include providing data quality support, outside the routine reporting, to the Business Intelligence Team and the Trust. The post holder will use the current library of Data Quality Reports, in addition to supporting the Data Quality Lead on identifying Data Quality issues and developing new Data Quality Processes and Reports. The post holder will need to correct the information errors on PAS which are identified by the Data Quality Reports or issues raised by the Business Intelligence team or other departments within the Trust. The post holder will have joint responsibility for resolving monthly demographic challenges received from the CCG. The post holder will be required, as necessary, to use NHS SPINE Summary Care Record to search and confirm patient details. A key aspect of the role will be to provide assistance in key areas of the information governance agenda and support the Business Intelligence Team in delivering improved data quality throughout the Trust. To liaise with the Business Intelligence Team, Training, Wards and other departments, as necessary, in order to provide in-depth knowledge to identify areas which require data quality improvement and assist such improvement projects until completion. Building Safety inspections identify and respond to defects, prioritising and ensuring actions are undertaken in a timely manner by removing hazards and ensuring any installed equipment is operational to ensure people are safe and the building is working effectively. To defend any liability claims relating to the communal areas and to provide a due diligent defence against a claim for breach of a statutory or regulatory requirement or defend an allegation for serious detriment.

About you

We are looking for someone to:

Have experience within a designated geographical patch and provide operational support and cover to other colleagues across group portfolio. Carry out a program of building safety inspections to identify defects, prioritise their action and ensure action is undertaken in an agreed / appropriate timescales), removing hazards and ensuring any installed equipment to protect people safety or the building is working correctly to a range of Group properties. Undertake functional / operational safety checks to ensure installed equipment is in full working order to ensure compliance with risk and health and safety protocols Record outcomes of inspections and functional/operational checks, assess any hazards and determine the appropriate action and timescale to mitigate any risks. Report Emergency repairs through customer service centre and Compliance Management Teams / Quality Assurance Team colleagues. Escalate any building safety risks/concerns to Team Leader / Operational Manager and Quality Assurance Team, within set timescales, and using agreed reporting tools, to enable remedial action to be carried out to mitigate risks identified. Support completion of dynamic risk assessment of buildings to determine the appropriate risk level and frequency of inspection, including data & information collection. Post inspect the quality of completed fire remedial works to buildings and provide brief reports, photographs and information to retain within digital records. Maintain accurate records using appropriate systems, ensuring the integrity and quality of building safety inspection data, to enable regular analysis to be carried out and reporting to be completed as required, including progress against key performance indicators. Liaise with internal and external stakeholders as appropriate, building constructive working relationships to ensure that inspection activity is carried out to mitigate risks. Distribute customer communications and collect information on other asset services functions as and when required, to support Group objectives. Identify and communicate block access requirements and provide assistance when necessary, to arrange access for compliance works to be carried out. Follow agreed internal business processes, adhering to relevant regulatory, statutory and compliance frameworks to ensure effective inspections are carried out on behalf of the Group. Contribute to the continuous improvement of processes and procedures. Respond flexibly to any necessary changes in work priorities and undertake other duties when required to support the effective operation of the service. Ensure that all data protection requirements are met in accordance with the Group’s policy, procedures and statutory requirements. Knowledge, Skills and Experience

Essential

• Valid Full UK Driving Licence and Access to a car
• Proven track record of monitoring risk and health and safety compliance and carrying out inspections within a housing environment.
• Knowledge of asbestos, legionella, building regulations, fire regulations, health and safety regulations and carrying out risk assessments within a housing environment.
• Effective stakeholder management, both internally and external to the organisation.
• Proficient in the use of IT systems including MS Office.
• Evidence of accurately reviewing, collating and recording a variety of data for meaningful analysis.
• Excellent attention to detail with the ability to work under pressure, deliver to strict deadlines and manage conflicting priorities.
• Excellent team player who can work flexibly to meet business requirements.

Desirable:

• Experience of successfully undertaking the role of Building Safety / Compliance Inspector, within a similar organisation.
• Knowledge of Compliance Information and Communications Technology (ICT) systems including Housing Management Systems e.g. Academy/Open Housing management, C365, Promaster.
