Role Description

• Develop and maintain the Quality Management System in accordance to ISO9001
• Support with New Product Introduction projects, also supporting with production trials.
• Work with customers, suppliers, and associated teams to ensure compliance, managing any resolving any non-conformances
• Generate quality and process related documentation - PFMEA's, Control Plans, work instructions etc.
• Oversee changes in engineering processes from a quality perspective
• Report on Cost of Poor Quality (COPQ)
• Lead a team of 3 shift QC personnel

Skills and Qualifications

• Experienced with core quality tools - FMEA, APQP, PPAP, MSA, SPC
• Experienced operating Polyworks, Faro Arm, and CMM
• Automotive industry or related experience is very advantageous
• Ability to interpret technical drawings
• Engineering qualification

Job Title: QC Analyst - Biosafety

Location: Speke, Liverpool.

Contract: 6 months

Rate: £14.13 p/h (inclusive of shift uplift)

Shift: 4 days on, 4 days off. 7am - 7pm.

SRG are currently working with a global pharmaceutical manufacturer based in Liverpool, looking for QC Analyst (Biosafety) to join the team. The site in Speke specialises in the production of sterile injectable products, for the treatment of the flu. This is a fantastic opportunity for a Biological Science graduate with some GMP experience to further their career.

Main responsibilities:

• Performing a range of immunological tests within a highly regulated Quality Control laboratory to GMP regulations.
• Performing routine QC testing
• Documenting laboratory results in an accurate and timely manner.
• Complying with GMP regulatory requirements at all times.

Key requirements:

• Educated to BSc /MSc level in a relevant scientific subject.
• Industrial experience outside of university is mandatory.
• Experience of working to GMP/pharmaceutical regulatory requirements is desirable.

QC Chemist (Technical Manager Designate) required on a permanent basis, based in Merseyside. Requiring proven industrial experience of wet chemistry analysis, HPLC and/or GC-MS. Experience of man/team management is also desirable but not essential.

They are currently looking for a QC Chemist who are looking to widen their experience into aspects of technical management. This is a permanent role based at their site in Merseyside. This role will predominantly involve supporting in analysis using a number of analytical techniques, potentially managing and mentoring other team members, as well as participating and leading in technical documentation control.

Role / Description

• Support in analysing raw materials, in-process samples and finished products using a range of analysis (wet chemistry, HPLC and GC-MS)
• Supporting in method validation for a range of analytical methods
• Providing support, training and mentorship to other team members
• Supporting in performance reviews of other team members
• Regularly reviewing SOPs
• Support and drive continuous improvement within Quality Control (QC)
• Support and deputise for Head of Technical and other roles, when required
• Support and occasionally lead investigations
• Create & review of Finish Product Specifications
• Improve and review all types of documents which form part of the Quality Management system (QMS)
• Participate in the release or rejection of non-conforming products

Requirements

• A degree in Chemistry (or similar)
• Proven industrial experience of analysing raw materials, in-process samples and finished products using a range of analysis
  • Wet Chemistry analysis, HPLC and/or GC-MS
• Experience of leadership or management is desirable but not essential
• Eagerness and enthusiasm to learn
