Duties include but are not limited to

• As part of a multi-disciplined team, you will be responsible for identifying, evaluation and nominating new suppliers, steering supplier launch and quality departments to develop and manage the pre-serial activities in line with the companies group Project Milestones.
• You will be responsible for the approval of parts quality prior to launch and in serial production.
• To manage critical supplier concerns, ensuring in series the supplier is adhering to the standards and targets set by the companies process partners.
• Responsible for problems associated with your supplier scope and conducting root cause analysis to determine long and short-term solutions in a timely manner and escalating issues as appropriate.

This position will offer the candidate £21.88 per hour.

Skills and experience required.

• Apprentice and/or Degree (or equivalent) in a Mechanical/Electrical Engineering discipline would be beneficial.
• Experience in Original Equipment Manufacturing / OEM's/
• Language skills would be an advantage to support international supplier contacts.
• A strong knowledge of Manufacturing processes, production quality control methods and systems, quality management systems, tools, and maturation processes.
• An Ability to take ownership of problems and find solutions, with the confidence to make and enforce decisions within pressurised situations.

Their tool is used as a best practice tool for the estimation of flows in ungauged catchments by the EA, NRW, SEPA, NIEA, EPA and UK water companies. The estimation of climate change adjusted flows will be implemented this year through an EA, NRW and SEPA joint funded project. This new tool will be based on a water quality modelling extension to the predecessor that has been used extensively by UKCEH over the past 20 years to model the fate of various chemicals such as pharmaceuticals and nanoparticles across the UK, including an assessment of SARS-CoV-2 loads across UK river catchments.

Experience & Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in a related field

• Experience in managing supplier management programme including writing quality agreements and administering supplier audits
• Experienced auditor
• Ability to effectively and constructively communicate across departmental disciplines while pursuing project goals
• Experience in supplier management including writing quality agreements
• Full UK Drivers licence

Are you an experienced QA Engineer with a background in Post Market Surveillance? Are you familiar with cGMP and/or ISO Quality System requirements?

We are recruiting for a QA Engineer to ensure compliance to site and divisional policies and procedures. The successful candidate will also be supporting the continuous improvement and effective maintenance of the QMS, supporting the use of appropriate risk management tools to prioritise activities and level of effort required, support the building and maintenance of successful cross functional relationships with departments such as R&D, Technical, Engineering, Operations and Regulatory Affairs in order to achieve all project goals.

The successful candidate will be joining a global Diabetes Care business based in Witney, working 37.5 hours per week on an initial 6 month contract basis.

Responsibilities:

• Support the review and approval of protocols and reports for Software, Facilities Utilities Equipment, Test Method, and Process validations
• Monitoring and maintenance of the process FMEA and risk analysis records
• Provide input into sampling plans and validation statistical methods
• Maintenance of the site validation plans, listings and periodic review process
• Validation input to post market surveillance activities
• Support the maintenance of Risk Management plans and associated records e.g. design risk analysis and design FMEA
• Support the design input to post market surveillance activities and product performance monitoring
• Monitoring and documentation of Post Market Surveillance activities including clinical performance monitoring
• Support the change control process including, assessment of impact and review, approval and authoring of documentation
• Support the CAPA process by identifying and raising Quality / Compliance issues, reviewing Exception Reports and confirming Corrections and Corrective Actions
• Support Operations to make Quality / Compliance decisions on product during processing, manufacturing, testing, monitoring and packaging
• Project manage ER's / Post Investigations / Deviations within agreed timelines
• Coordinate cross functional team activities to ensure ER investigations establish root cause and identify appropriate Corrective Actions
• Work with end users of the POMS system to triage issues and support driving to resolution
• Post Market Surveillance
• Responsible for supporting the gathering data for product surveillance
• Support the data requests required monthly, quarterly, semi-annual, or ad-hoc reports for management review, postmarket surveillance or other activities as required
• Support postmarket surveillance metrics

Experience & Qualifications:

• Scientific background
• Exposure to in Post Market Surveillance
• Ability to work with a variety of databases
• Ability to handle data / spreadsheets / interpret data
• Strong time management skills
• Strong planning capabilities
• Ability to adapt to changes throughout the week / re-plan
