What You Will Achieve

• This role will be the primary point of contact for US Market Transport (MT) compliance with EHS/ESG and GSC Global Sustainability requirements.

• This role will support and grow the MT Sustainability capability through industry benchmarking, tracking/visibility using IMEx processes and tools, and provide project management for MT projects.

• This role supports daily operations and is the primary contact for Logistic Center and Customer Service stakeholders.

• This role also directly supports the other MT capabilities (Enablement, Systems, Compliance, Freight Audit and Pay).

How You Will Achieve It

Market Transport Sustainability primary point of contact:

• Lead the MT Sustainability capability and work directly with EHS/ESG and GSC Global Sustainability colleagues to ensure compliant CO2e reporting.

• Accountability for supporting CO2e reduction projects through project management and thought leadership.

• Work directly with transportation suppliers to identify CO2e reduction pilots and develop the business case for LT consideration.

• Incorporate CO2e reduction methodologies into MT business practices and processes.

Support and grow the Market Transport Sustainability capability:

• Develop standard work process flows and controls for the MT Sustainability capability.

• IMEX compliance: ensure all MT Sustainability projects are effectively managed in DOC/CI Loop.

• Participate in internal and external benchmarking and thought leadership forums.

• Lead or co-lead proper change management for the implementation of sustainable MT solutions.

Operations Support:

• Act a primary contact for issue mitigation for Logistic Centers and the three customer service groups.

Support other capabilities within Market Transport

• US import operations and expense tracking.

• Support carrier qualification process as needed.

• Support transport data management solutions (TMS/SAP/Freight Audit and Pay).

Qualifications

Must-have

• Bachelor’s degree in Logistics/Transportation, Business Administration, engineering, Supply Chain or corresponding experience.

• 5+ years transportation, engineering, customer service, supply chain or logistics experience.

• Experience with Sustainability concepts and reporting.

• Strong analytical skills and very proficient in MS Office Suite programs and database mining.

Section 1: Position Summary

The Retirement Compliance Testing Coordinator is responsible for certain day-to-day operational duties of the plan as a co-plan administrator. This includes monitoring and oversight related to key areas of plan administration for 100-200 plans, compliance testing and data scrubbing for the team.

• Review and sign Form 5500. If changes are required ensure those are complete before e-signing.

• Ensure distribution of all required participant notices for newly eligible and annually for all participants by leveraging recordkeeper process or mailing/emailing notices directly to participants.
• Generate a report from the recordkeeper to monitor and ensure plan contributions are submitted timely. If plan contributions are not submitted timely ensure the correction process is completed to include lost earnings are calculated and deposited. This could also include employee communication.
• Review data from recordkeeper to monitor and ensure terminated participants are forced out of the plan.
• Monitor and ensure distributions and loans are processed timely.
• Produce a report from the recordkeeper to monitor and ensure newly eligible participants are offered the plan and enrolled. If participants are not offered the plan timely ensure correction process is completed so the plan remains compliant.
• Responsible for protecting, securing, and proper handling of all confidential data held by Ascensus to ensure against unauthorized access, improper transmission, and/or unapproved disclosure of information that could result in harm to Ascensus or our clients.

Responsibilities

• Develop collaborative partnerships with Research and Development (R&D) to help establish the state of quality and potential areas of quality risk exposure. Contributes to the use of innovative methods for improving the quality oversight for Amgen’s IVD and Precision Medicine programs.

• Collaborate with colleagues in a cross-matrixed environment and ensure that Amgen’s R&D efforts, including partnerships and third parties, are aligned to industry best practices and all regulations.

• Support the implementation of IVD quality management strategies to ensure compliance to an evolving and complex IVD regulatory landscape, particularly in the European Union.

• Leverages metrics (KQI, KPI leading and lagging) related to IVD and Precision Medicine for Quality Management System performance and improvement.

• Collaborate with clinical trial teams to ensure that all respective critical to quality components are incorporated into clinical trial design, execution, and support of regulatory filings.

• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of IVD regulations and applicable guidance; monitor development of regulations and communicate impact to the business.

• Provides risk-based quality assurance and oversight for IVD/ Precision Medicine activities (e.g., auditing, deviation management and inspection management).
