d) Assist in preparation of laboratory apparatus, equipment and teaching materials for scheduled laboratory activities.

e) Assist in stock taking exercise and maintenance of equipment.

f) Typing of worksheets and notes.

g) Supporting and assisting in departmental events, activities and programmes.

h) Any other duties assigned by the School.

• To perform clinical activities and administrative work associated with running of the Hospital Kidney Transplant Programme.
• Assist potential donors and recipients in the entire kidney transplant process, includes providing counselling and conducting transplant workup for potential donors and recipients.

The college is seeking to appoint a technician to support the delivery of the Science curriculum within the school of Care at the City of Newport Campus.
Your main responsibilities will include ensuring stock levels are maintained and the ordering of materials is carried out within the remit of managing a tight budget. Staff and learners are fully supported to ensure teaching, learning and assessment activities are effectively delivered. Equipment is cleaned and the laboratories run efficiently on a day-to-day basis.
