What skills and experience we're looking for

This is an exciting opportunity to join our Science Department as a Science Technician. Each day you will provide administrative and technical support to the Science Department to ensure that all apparatus and equipment is available and set up to meet the daily timetable requirements covering KS3 to KS4.

The working hours are from 8.00am to 4.00pm, with a 3.30pm finish on Fridays, during the school term. You will also be paid for an additional 5 days per year, which enables you to attend team meetings, training and development that sits outside your normal working hours. You will be paid on Scale Point 4 which is £23114 full time equivalent. Your actual salary is £19850 per annum dependant on our start date, based on working 37 hours per week, and this is paid in 12 equal instalments over the year so even when it is the summer holidays, you continue to receive the same payment that month.

Key Responsibilities include:

• Member of an in-house AI and data science development team that works on AI (including areas in generative AI, autonomous agent, NLP, computer vision and recommender system), mathematical optimization, game theory, and experimental design.

Requirements

• BS in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Physics or related discipline is required. PhD and MS degrees related to machine learning and other AI disciplines are preferred.
• Intermediate programming skills in Python. Conversant with algorithm design/analysis, data structure and SQL. Familiarity with functional/object-oriented software development using modern programming languages such as Scala, TypeScript/JavaScript, Java and C# is a plus.
• Exposure in the use of workflow/map-reduce and stream processing systems such as Spark and Kafka for big-data processing.

Our client is looking for a Travel Manager to support the Directors and other staff of the company in order to manage clients travels. As a Travel Manager, you will assist colleagues and directors by supporting them with planning and managing client's travel and their planned trips. The work is entirely office based, and the need to travel outside the office is very uncommon. The ideal candidate will be the reference point for all queries, requests or issues and will be an integral part of the company’s workforce. The role is to support colleagues and to be in constant communication with the team and the director of the company. Roles & Responsibilities
1. Provide exceptional customer service by understanding and meeting customers' needs.
2. Develop and implement comprehensive travel policies tailored to client needs.
3. Manages the travel budget and negotiates favourable rates with service providers.
4. Coordinates and oversees all domestic and international travel bookings.
5. Maintains strong relationships with travel suppliers, resolving issues efficiently.
6. Provides expert support and assistance to clients with travel-related queries.
7. Tracks, analyzes and reports on travel program performance and expenditures.
8. Manages and optimizes travel booking systems and technological tools.
9. Promotes sustainable and environmentally friendly travel practices.


Requirements and skills
• Proven work experience as a Travel Manager or experience in similar field.
• Ability to communicate quickly and understand instructions.
• Ability to manage pressure and conflicting demands and prioritise tasks and workload.
• Business or management and attention to detail.
• Oral and written communication skills with pleasant, confident telephone manner.
• Teamworking, Reliability and honesty.
• Ability to plan your own work, use your initiative and meet deadlines.
• Familiarity with office organization and optimization techniques
• High degree of multi-tasking and time management capability
• Proficiency in MS Office, word excel and PowerPoint.

Salary: £30000 to £33000.. depending on experience.
Working hours: 10am to 6pm, Monday to Friday.
Location: Leicester, United Kingdom.
