Senior Science Technician
Contract type: Permanent - 37 hours per week, term time only plus 2 weeks (including 5 inset days)
Salary: Scale 4 Point 12-17 £24,294-£25,979 (Pro Rata £21,711- £23,217)
Details of the Role
The Kingsway School, part of the Education Learning Trust, are seeking to employ a Senior Science Technician to work 37 hours per week within our busy science department. This role is term time plus 2 weeks (including 5 inset days).
We are seeking to appoint a motivated Senior Science Technician to join our friendly, supportive, and outward looking team of teachers and technicians. The post holder will play a key role in ensuring the students receive a high-quality science education by providing resources and practical equipment for lessons. Specific responsibilities will include:
Preparing and providing resources and practical equipment for lessons
Assisting in developing effective systems to manage resources and prepare equipment
Assisting in the maintenance of science equipment
The successful candidate will be organised and self-motivated, have a high level of accuracy and proficient IT skills. They will enjoy working in a team and be able to form strong relationships with team members and students.
