The Role:

The Ad Operations Manager role will be responsible for the assistance of day to day leadership and running of the Ad Operations team in one of our agencies. Dementia UK is the specialist dementia nursing charity that is there for the whole family. Our specialist nurses, known as Admiral Nurses, provide free, expert advice, support and understanding to help families care for their loved one. About the role

Research is a key element in Dementia UK’s strategic aims and runs throughout all our approaches to supporting people with dementia and their families. Our research is focused on care not cure, helping to improve lives and support our Admiral Nurses.

As part of the Research and Publications Team, we are seeking to employ two research fellows to support the delivery of our Research Strategy which we launched in September 2023.

This role will support in designing and undertaking literature reviews, developing review questions in collaboration with our patient and public involvement group. You will lead on data collection conducting interviews with people with dementia, carers, Admiral Nurses or other key stakeholders, analysing that data and disseminating the research findings. You will also collaborate with other researchers, representing Dementia UK in supporting and advising researchers in the field of dementia care.

The successful candidate will have a first degree or higher in a course relevant subject (e.g., psychology, nursing, social care) with a PHD or equivalent accepted based on cognate area of understanding. You will have demonstrable research experience within dementia, health or social care with the ability to explain complex qualitative and quantitative information in a simple and understandable format for a range of audiences.
