The position of Class 1 Night Trunk Driver involves:

• This will involve trunking, making multi-drop collections and deliveries within the Pallet Network, from the depot in Aberdeen to Queenslie depot and reload back to Aberdeen.
• Loading and unloading of vehicle, ensuring load security.
• Using a hand held PDA to complete daily vehicle checks.
• Keeping in regular contact with the transport team for updates on progress and managing our customers' expectations.
• Attending regular training sessions.

Essential skills required for Class 1 Night Trunk Driver:

• Must hold a UK Class 1 CE Licence.
• Hold a current DCPC Card and Digital Tachograph Driver Card.
• Be passionate about providing excellent customer service.
• Working to deadlines.
• Confident, polite and a team player.
• Good geographical knowledge.

• Delivering bakery products on behalf of customers from our Aberdeen Depot.
• You will be delivering to a range of retail outlets, wholesale and convenience stores across Aberdeen city.
• Loading/unloading of vehicles.
• Dealing with customers face to face at delivery points and managing our customers' delivery expectations.
• A flexible approach is required as the job will involve early starts as well as tail-lift use and the manual handling of bread deliveries.
• Attending regular training sessions.

Essential skills required for Class 2 Driver:

• Must have a UK Class 2 C Driving Licence.
• Hold a current DCPC Card and Digital Tachograph Driver Card.

• Deliveries and collections of bulk work to include scrap metals using a curtain sided or flatbed trailer, which will include a great deal of load security using ratchet straps.
• Using a handheld PDA to complete paperwork.
• Planning route on a day to day basis.
• Dealing with customers face to face and over the phone.
• Keeping in regular contact with the transport team for updates on progress and managing our customers' expectations.
• Attending regular training sessions.
• You may be required to spend the occasional night out a week (tax free allowance paid).

The position of Class 1 Shunter Driver involves:

• This will involve using a Tug Master for internal shunting within customers premises and to secure and unsecure loads (training will be provided).
• This will also involve ad hoc trunking to Glasgow and back to Ellon.
• Dealing with customers face to face and over the phone.
• Keeping in regular contact with the transport team for updates on progress and managing our customers' expectations.
• Attending regular training sessions.

Essential skills required for Class 1 Shunter Driver:

• Must hold a UK Class 1 CE Licence.
• Hold a current DCPC Card and Digital Tachograph Driver Card.
• Experience of curtain side trailers is preferred but not essential as full training will be given.
• Be passionate about providing excellent customer service.
• Working to deadlines.
• Confident, polite and a team player.
