The Downstream Senior Marketing Manager, U.S. Medical Distribution supporting Corporate Accounts, GPO, and Government channels. This role will lead the development and implementation of marketing plans for the U.S. Distribution business portfolio. Primary responsibility will be to commercialize the U.S. Medical Distribution value proposition in the Corporate Accounts, GPO, and Government channels to drive revenue and accelerate the growth and profitability of the U.S. Medical Distribution business. The role will report to the Director of Commercial Marketing, U.S. Medical Distribution.

Responsibilities

Manages the development and execution of a marketing plan for Cardinal Health’s U.S. Medical Distribution Acute Care channels by performing the following duties:

• Executes the tactical plan for marketing strategies and programs, both short-and long-term, to ensure the sales and margin performance goals of the business are achieved
• Leads commercial engagement with sales, customers, and industry and trade associations

Airbus US Manufacturing Facility is looking for a Aircraft Manager A320  to join our  Project Manager Team  based in Mobile, AL

The ideal candidate is responsible for folio management of any assigned aircraft during the production and flight test phase of the assembly process until Handover to the delivery center is complete. The selected candidates will be responsible to analyze and steer all new issues found during the assembly process (non-conformities, customer findings, flightline issues, etc.). They will also be required to identify critical points, initiate action plans, and complete follow-ups until closure of issues.

Your challenges:

• Document, follow, organize and manage all non-conformities throughout the flowline/flightline process. Drive closure of issues in collaboration with all relevant parties to ensure production milestones are met.

• Prepare and conduct FOT meeting, ensuring on-time closure of all folio points and non-conformities. Prepare Aircraft Documentation for the Internal Quality Gates and lead meetings to ensure aircraft status is known by the receiving station. In the event of a red quality gate, ensure actions are taken and completed according to plan given

• Function as the L1 link to feed escalations to the ACM IIs by attending L SQCDPs. Ensure all escalations are properly documented in Tandem and all information is given for appropriate problem solving.

• Create the MSN status report and send updates on an on-going basis regarding the progress of the aircraft. Perform inflow analysis (ex Non Conformities, work orders, QLB, TLB...) and new points' distribution. Guarantees that all information in "Aircraft Progress" concerning the FAL are in accordance with the physical state of the subject aircraft.

• Responsible for aircraft issue follow-up addressing progress in a proactive manner, anticipating issues, and driving resolution to avoid production risks. Generate the daily MSN Report (folio point's analysis) and highlight priority topics.

• Responsible for Working Party planning when necessary to solve major issues on aircraft.

• Record information in "Aircraft Progress" and define daily priorities with the Station Managers.

• Cooperate in national/international projects.

• Perform other duties as assigned.

Your boarding pass:

• Required: A Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or a related field. In lieu of degree, training as a technician in a technical field related to aviation manufacturing.

• Required: 3 or more years' of working experience in aviation related fields or equivalent experience in manufacturing planning or manufacturing project management.

• Preferred: 1 year of working experience in a leading role.

• Project Manager is responsible for controlling and monitoring the status and progress of projects in Supply Chain.  This is critical to assure that the project is on track and any issues can be proactively managed.  Risk Management techniques shall also be used to manage risks on the project.
• Governance and oversight of the transformation of the Supply Chain function of the site to ensure optimal and standardized usage of the defined Supply Chain process landscape to unveil maximum optimization potential for the Biologics function.
• Lead a multi-disciplinary project team for the transformation of the Supply Chain function of the Lonza Portsmouth site.
• Drive the establishment and optimization of the following process areas:  Supply Chain core/main process landscape, Integrated Business Planning (Supply Planning) and detailed scheduling.
• Lead and establish necessary change management measures to ensure a smooth transition towards a high performing Supply Chain function, including necessary knowledge transfer
• Develop, drive and accountable Supply Chain improvements and standardization ensuring full adherence to all processes
• Provide leadership in defining best practices and applying project management standards.
• Be the departments LBMS leader and drive LBMS principles across the department
• Collaborate with key stakeholders to prioritize projects, address project changes, and evaluate options. Mobilizing resources and executing timelines based on business needs and requirements
• Conduct internal and external Project Team Meetings to ensure that all stakeholders are working in accordance to the agreed to Project Plan
• Perform other duties as assigned

Key Requirements:

• 6+ years in Supply Chain focused leadership position
• 2+ years of Project Management experience, with extensive cross functional support

Leader, Component Distribution (P5)

As a member of Ciena’s Global Procurement Organization - Reporting to the Director of Procurement, EMS & Component Distribution – the Senior Leader, Component Distribution is responsible for driving the Supply Chain Evolution program, performance adherence, lowest total cost of ownership and supplier relationship management for Ciena’s component distribution partners.

The Senior Leader, Component Distribution is a tactical and strategic business partner, interfacing at all levels inside and outside of Ciena, with the ability to understand the business needs and drive results to meet the objectives. This position is also responsible for driving continuous improvement across the partners in the program.

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES

• Implementation of the Arrow Evolution Model and transition to a new financial model meeting the needs of the increased spend through distribution programs.
• Driving end-to-end lowest total cost of ownership of material flowing through the component supply chain from component suppliers, through Ciena’s third component distribution partners and to/through contract manufacturers. This to be accomplished by ensuring the right model/fit and agreements are in place to enable the objectives and corresponding processes are put in place to track and drive adherence.
• Ensure continuity of supply for all components managed by the third-party component distribution partners; ensuring partners are driving the correct demand signals with purchase order coverage to suppliers and the corresponding supply schedule aligns with Ciena demand. Establish processes for engagement to ensure tight alignment between supply and demand and monitor indicators built-in to trigger supply constraints/misalignment to demand.
• Manage relationships and performance of component distribution partners in part, by coordinating quarterly business reviews through facilitating internal collaboration of stakeholders on scoring and reporting of KPIs for their areas of responsibilities.
• Build and manage internal and external relationships that help foster tighter engagement, collaboration, and more efficient, aligned execution. 
• Drive initiatives to improve operational efficiencies and challenge partners to provide new supply chain models and value-added services (Spot Buy Desk, Re-packaging service)
• Coordinate onboarding of new suppliers into the distribution programs through strong collaboration with Distribution Partners, Contract Manufacturing Partners, Suppliers and Ciena GCM teams
• Lead Weekly team meetings to review status on all issues/initiatives
• Drive Monthly reconciliation of invoices and settlements

Overview & Responsibilities

MANAGER - SUPPLY CHAIN CONTRACTS ADMINSTRATION

PURPOSE OF THE JOB:

• Manage operations of Contract Administration within the Global Supply Chain and GPS Organization(s). 

This individual will be an employee of Elliott Company (US) but will have Elliott global responsibilities for the review and negotiation of supply chain/GPS contracts.

For Contract Administration: In managing this work the contract manager will be responsible for evaluating and developing negotiating strategies and training to maintain and enhance the effectiveness of the supply chain/GPS departments.    The manager will also interface with suppliers, Elliott Supply Chain/GPS executives and various supply chain and GPS resources to insure effective use of the department in their contract management efforts.  The manager will also review, coordinate, administer and resolve all commercial contractual terms and conditions of purchases for all products and services worldwide in line with Elliott Corporate policies in order to minimize risk and exposure to the organization.    

BACKGROUND and EXPERIENCE

Education:

• Law Degree/Juris Doctorate (No lapse in license); alternatively, a master’s degree in a business-related disciple with equivalent experience in sales or purchasing commercial contract law and negotiation as denoted below. 

Experience:

• Must have at least 10 years’ experience reviewing and negotiating complex international purchasing contracts.

• Have a background in negotiating strategy development.

• Ability to manage and motivate people on a remote basis.

• Must have a background in contract administration as well as domestic and international order administration.

• Must have strong communication and interpersonal skills.

• Must maintain legal standing by maintain proficiency through CLE.

• Must be decisive and possess strong negotiation skills.

• Must have the skills and abilities to negotiate with Corporate Officers and Attorneys, Suppliers, Customers, Supply Chain Management Leadership and Team Members.

• An appreciation of European contract law would be a definite advantage.

NATURE OF THE JOB

• Supervise, develop and evaluate the Global Supply Chain and GPS Department’s team member’s capabilities in developing/negotiating strategies and effectiveness in identifying risk areas within transaction terms and conditions.  Develop, implement and maintain effective programs for the review and resolution of purchasing contract language in line with Corporate Supply Chain Contract Risk Management Policies.

• Negotiate contracts with the most favorable conditions to minimize the risk of losses to the organization, while maintaining good relationships with our suppliers.

• Administer Corporate Policies and Procedures regarding contracts. Includes educating supply chain department with respect to the same.

• Administer activities covered by specific broad policies, but position often requires recognizing and resolving unusual contractual requirements which might, if unresolved, pose serious risks to the organization.

• Internally:   Senior Elliott Group executive management, Area Vice President and Managers, the Elliott Legal Department all Supply Chain/GPS personnel, Credit, Sales, Engineering, Manufacturing, Programs and other various groups as required.

• Externally:   Suppliers - extensive contacts with executives and sales, Customers and other various external groups as required.

• Travel:  Occasional for training and negotiations with suppliers.

• Supervisor. Develop, evaluate and enhance the Supply Chain/GPS Resources capabilities in developing and negotiating strategies and effectiveness in identifying risk areas within terms and conditions.

• Responsible for personal approval of contracts and supply chain agreements up to TBD and recommendation for approval of those in excess of TBD.

• Evaluate supply chain contract terms and conditions for contractual and legal risk and craft terms that are more focused on order risks and limit and then develop negotiating strategies to implement lower risk terms.  

• Success or failure to secure favorable contracts could affect OTD, profits, and incremental future sales in addition to direct and indirect liabilities.

SPECIFIC JOB RESPONSIBILITIES  

• Evaluate effectiveness of supply chain/GPS departmental resources in developing negotiation strategy, handling supplier negotiation sessions and resolution of risk issues.

• Review and resolve terms and conditions on all major proposals and contracts as well as all contracts / orders requiring signed acceptance regardless of value. The aim is to identify and resolve unfavorable language.

• Negotiate with supplier representatives and / or supplier personnel, acceptable supply chain contract language.

• Complete risk assessment worksheet for Business Unit negotiation status.

• Ensure turnaround of items submitted into the contracts administration database within 10 days of receipt and monitoring relative work volume and request additional resources in times of heavy demand for services.

• Provide assistance and expertise through training when required to assist Supply Chain/GPS personnel in communicating Elliott contract requirements to suppliers.

• Establish long-term agreements with critical/strategic suppliers to help ensure best value options for Elliott Group.

• Coordinate and ensure that all proper signing authorities are observed on Supply Chain contracts.
