Self-Employed Driver Responsibilities include:

Self-Employed Driver Requirements:

What you'll be doing;

• Operating High Air Flow Machine / Specialist Vacuum Tanker Vehicles
  
• Loading and unloading of hazardous and non-hazardous waste from customer sites and disposal sites
  
• Additional duties will be required such as storage tank / vessel cleaning under confined space regulations, high pressure water jetting and repackaging of hazardous materials.
  
• Dealing with plant shutdowns, trauma and crime scene cleaning, chemical emergency response, confined space and working at height rescue services.
  
• Complete daily checks of the vehicle and use the onboard technology to complete work notes

This Writer-Editor position is located in Enterprise Support (ES), Operations Management (OM), Transportation Security Administration, Department of Homeland Security (DHS). Duties include but are not limited to:

• Under limited minimal direction of a manager or supervisor writes and edits high-quality products that effectively explain and interpret the Agency's stance on various transportation security issues.
• Serves as the primary writer/editor supporting the researching, writing, editing, and coordinating of materials for signature by TSA management officials. Supports the development and management of the TSA Style Guide, Correspondence Manual and correspondence standard operating procedures, and leads associated training for employees across TSA - headquarters and field.
• Acts as editorial advisor to program analysts and personnel in the Agency for condolence, retirement, and employee recognition correspondence signed by the Administrator in addition to other correspondence signed by TSA management officials. Helps to identify process improvements related to writing and review; provides solutions to program offices' writing challenges; reviews executive-level correspondence and reports for adherence to TSA, DHS, and component styles and standards; and advises program offices on correspondence standards and processes.

This Supervisory Transportation Security Specialist (Explosives) position is located in the Security Operations, Domestic Aviation Operations (DAO) division, Aviation Coordination, Explosives Operations, Transportation Security Administration (TSA), Department of Homeland Security (DHS). Duties include but are not limited to:

• Serves as a technical authority and consultant to agency management, industry representatives, other senior agents, officers, or inspectors on explosive operations and devices, weapons of mass destruction, etc. Serves as a technical authority and/or lead on projects, programs, and other work activities; prepares comprehensive papers and reports summarizing data and findings; and evaluates and analyzes complex aviation transportation security data.
• Directs a team of subordinates on explosives effects pertinent to the branch and overall transportation safety.
• Develops comprehensive briefings and directs technical training courses/presentations (which includes designing or evaluating existing course curriculum) on explosives, improvised explosive devices, weapons of mass destruction, evolving technology threats, and all related security subjects for the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) and Transportation Security Administration (TSA) covering all modes of transportation.

• Develops detailed communication and guidance documents for use by the field and internal TSA stakeholders. Broad policies and objectives provide general guidance or may be of an ambiguous nature therefore extensive interpretation is required in addressing pressing issues. The incumbent must utilize considerable judgment and ingenuity to develop and establish new guidance practices or make ingenious recommendations.
• Generates various security plans and reports for submission to Security Operations leadership which contain descriptive, analytical, and evaluative content related to transportation security programs and protocols. The incumbent must collect and analyze data from a variety of sources whilst considering the impact, interrelationships, and complex functions and activities as well as confirms the accuracy and authenticity of security-based information.
• Performs in-depth review and identifies trend analyses based upon classified data and information on existing and emerging explosives threats. Analyzes assigned security issues, interprets data, draws relevant conclusions, and formulates probabilities based upon current and past intelligence situations.

This Transportation Security Officer position is located in Transportation Security Administration, Department of Homeland Security (DHS). As a Transportation Security Officer (TSOs) within Security Operations (SO), you will provide security and protection of air travelers, airports and aircraft in a courteous and professional manner. Duties may include but are not limited to:

• Operating various screening equipment and technology to identify dangerous objects in baggage, cargo and on passengers, and preventing those objects from being transported onto aircraft.
• Performing searches and screening, which may include physical interaction with passengers (e.g., pat-downs, search of property, etc.), conducting bag searches and lifting/carrying bags, bins, and property weighing up to 50lbs.
• Controlling terminal entry and exit points.
