Are you ready for an exhilarating career on the road? Join our dynamic General Haulage team in Boston as a Class 1 (C+E) Driver. This long-term opportunity offers you the chance to transport timber goods from mills to customer sites, ensuring timely and safe deliveries. You’ll be operating state-of-the-art flatbed Class 1 vehicles, securing loads with ratchet straps.

To be considered for this role you will require the following:
• Minimum 1 years HGV experience (Required)
• Timber Experience (Preferred)
• Previous Ratchet and Strapping experience (Preferred)
• Valid LGV/HGV Class 1 C+E License
• Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
• No more than 9 penalty points.


This is an ongoing role with work commencing immediately.

Averaging 10 hour shifts
Leave boston site on the Monday, Night out all week and return Friday.

Construction Manager Travel Requirements:

• Expect up to 100% travel to local and regional work sites

Responsibilities:

• Manage the overall construction activities on assigned projects, including but not limited to material management, construction (EPC) and logistics efforts for a large scaled program consisting of multiple EPC/Design Build and Logistics contractors for an investor-owned electric utility in north-eastern United States.
• Responsible for the development of and/or review of construction plans, outage coordination, commissioning planning and safety planning.

Our Meals factories in Sutton Bridge and Boston collectively employ over 1,250 people and are two of eight factories that are part of the Bakkavor Meals sector in the UK.

As Supply Chain & Raw Materials Planner, you’ll support both the Boston and Sutton Bridge Meals sites with the planning of raw materials, ensuring all materials are purchased within timescales and quantities required to fulfil customer requirements, overcoming any obstacles that may affect service.

You will be methodical, highly organised and have excellent prioritisation skills. You’ll also have the ability to work to short and tight deadlines.

What will you do?

- Build strong relationships with raw material suppliers and internal teams.
- Using Bakkavor applications to monitor stocks, raise orders and monitor the status of the raw material through the supply chain.
- Update daily KPIs and use these to drive improvements within the department.


About you

- Experience working in a Manufacturing and Supply Chain environment.
- A background or experience in material planning would be beneficial.
- Methodical approach with attention to detail.
- Drive energy and enthusiasm.
