What will you be doing?

* Diagnosis of engine, electrical, drive train and drivability faults.
* Clock on and off RO’s electronically, so service records and accuracy of productivity and efficiency data can be maintained.
* Road test all vehicles prior to job commencing and after job completion, noting any areas of concern.
* Diagnose and fix any technical problems with the vehicle, consulting with the Workshop Controller of any issues.
* Ensure the Service Advisor and Workshop Controllers are made aware of issues that are outside of normal servicing requirements and where additional work is required so the customer can be contacted and informed of the issues prior to any works being carried out.
* Complete all servicing requirements within manufacturer Guidelines and time frames.
* Prior to commencing a service, read the RO to ensure you are aware of what needs to be completed and liase with the Service Advisor if there are concerns.

ASIs at the FG-13 level issue certificates to and monitor (1) a large and complex aviation organization or (2)a number of smaller organizations that, together, are comparable in complexity to one large one. They are the primary contact point with the aviation organization(s). They may decide on issuance of the original certificates. They evaluate and decide upon proposals to change the authorized programs of the organizations. They continuously monitor the activities of organizations to determine whether they are following their authorized program, Federal regulations, and good safety practices.

FG-13 assignments are characterized by one or more of the following:

1.Multiengine turboprop, turbojet, or rotorcraft helicopter aircraft;

2. A variety of flight operations with diverse types of aircraft which may include turbine powered aircraft and unmanned aircraft; or

3. Novel and complex aviation operations.

FG-13 employees plan and conduct their assignments with substantial technical independence. They receive administrative and policy guidance from their supervisors and policy makers. Assignments at this level are of great scope and unusual complexity and the organizations monitored are major factors in the industry. Assignments at this level are of great scope and unusual complexity. The following assignments are illustrative:

The magnitude, intensity, and scope of program responsibility are typically such as to require significant and regular assistance of lower graded inspectors.

Cash Handling and Reconciliation: Receive and verify cash bags collected by couriers, ensuring quantities match Trust Receipts. Sort, pack, and seal cash bags for delivery to designated banks.
Issue and maintain manifests and Trust Receipts. Coordinate with couriers for bank deposits.
Manage cash float exchange, including packing, receiving, and banking.
