The purpose of this position is to directs, manages, and supervises the operation of a club activity in support of the installation commander's morale, welfare, and recreation program.

Oversees the economical and efficient operation of the Aero Club. Monitors the various activities involved in club operations to ensure sound business management practices are being applied. Administers a safety program, using all available resources, ensuring the safest possible flying environment. Coordinates with marketing team to develop marketing ideas to enhance business operations. Develops budgets and financial plans that include membership activities, drives and recreational flying activities. Arranges membership activities, drives and recreational flying activities. Maintains all operational and administrative records to include: training, maintenance, safety and scheduling in accordance with applicable laws and regulations. Ensures all required publications, tools and materials are available and current. Upholds high standards of aircraft safety and maintenance.
Certifies facility operations comply with all FAA (Federal Aviation Administration), NTSB (National Transportation Safety Board) and Air Force regulations. Develops and maintains Standard Operating Procedures and PIFs (Pilot information file). Promotes, organizes and supervises all flight training to include duties as Manager FAR (Federal Aviation Regulation) Part 141 certified flight school. Ensures flight/ground training materials are pertinent to the courses. Prioritizes maintenance of aircrafts. Directs NAF and contract mechanics. Forecasts and procures replacement of aircraft engines and propellers, avionics and parts. Accountable for club equipment and performing property inventories.

Hires, supervises, promotes, motivates, initiates actions to correct performance and recommends formal disciplinary actions of NAF employees.

• Responsible for troubleshooting and diagnosing all hardware, software, network failures, and providing a solution for IT service request elevated to the assigned tier.
• Responsible for receiving, imaging, inventory, and deployment of all new and life-cycle replacement systems.

Responsible for the total airworthiness of Aero Club aircraft. Plans, organizes and directs task as required. Assures task are completed within the require time frames and reviews the work of aircraft mechanics to ensure completion. Troubleshoots and determines when the nature and scope of repair can be handled personally or should involve other mechanics; and coordinates their work as necessary. Serves as the technical authority to advise on, examine, and approve all airframe, mechanical, electrical, and hydralic repairs to Aero Club aircraft. As necessary, grounds the aircraft when the severity of a malfunction warrants, and may be responsible for releasing the aircraft to service after repairs are completed.Performs aircraft inspections including pre-flight, post-flight, phase, and other scheduled and unscheduled inspections. Tests and checks or oversees such actions by others, with test equipment and standards. Uses all tools of the trade, test equipment, test stands, power sources, cockpit instruments, gauges, and controls in performing assigned duties. Checks all functional and support systems, assess pilot comments, operates the engine(s), and may taxi aircraft. Inspects major system components and parts for defects, serviceability, and proper installation using technical manual and following appropriate inspection procedures. Conducts functional and operational tests and repairs/modifications to ensure proper operation. Attends pre-inspection meetings and coordinates with other functional representatives and offices to insure that scheduled inspections are complete.Diagnoses and identifies probable locations of malfunctions from the cockpit during engine run-up. Progressively engages or turns on all systems operated by cockpit controls. Reads data and settings from cockpit and instruments and gauges, referring to technical manuals, procedures, schematics, and other technical guidelines. May taxi aircraft during run-up. Initiates requests for unscheduled tools, equipment, and materials identified during preparation for flight. Maintain records of maintenance inspections performed on assigned aircraft as required. Inspects maintenance record entries made by aircraft mechanics to ensure records are accurate and timely. Utilizes safety practices and procedures following established safety rules and regulations and maintains a safe and clean work area. Uses and assures proper fit of required safety equipment and clothing. Follows federal and State rules when storing, using, handling, labeling and disposing of hazardous materials and waste in accordance with environmental standards. Performs clean-up duties such as cleaning equipment, sweeping, straightening, and lining u tools in the assigned area. Instructs Airframe and Powerplant School. Instructs a complete airframe and powerplant certification course. Develops lesson plans based on course requirements. Evaluates student progress. Administers oral and practical exams to students in accordance with FAA guidelines leading to A&P certification.

• The F-35 Joint Program Office Weapons Integration Program Manager provides program management leadership and oversight for the Air Vehicle Missions Systems Division's Weapons Branch in the areas of program management, test planning and execution, and contract oversight in the areas of F-35 weapons integration.
• The individual will oversee the management of all capabilities and integration efforts of weapons on the F-35 aircraft. They will manage contractual execution, balance constrained resources, and ensure timely integration of weapons onto the platform. This effort will require coordination across multiple PEO (JSF) directorates and Air Vehicle Mission Systems branches.
• This individual is responsible for and must maintain communication and full insight into all aspects of weapons integration onto the platform, interfacing with the weapons program offices and vendors, Lockheed Martin, and armament equipment suppliers.
