As an IT Specialist (SYSADMIN), GS-2210-12, you will develop, modifie, and test overall system backup and recovery strategies for all systems.Serves as the technical expert and focal point for installation, configuration and testing of hardware and software associated with multiple operating systems and computer platforms. Provides technical assistance and analysis to other IT personnel involved in system design, programming, database performance, and adapting commercially available software. Determines equipment requirements, communications, and interfaces with other systems. Evaluates machine usage based on current usage patterns and develops plans for the acquisition of hardware and software needed to support future IT requirements. Serves as the senior systems administrator responsible for planning, coordinating, modifying, implementing, and troubleshooting to support customer needs. As a Joint Interface Control Analyst, GS-0301-12, you will apply broad and expansive knowledge and education of military, civil, and data link capabilities in support of AOC operations. Responsible to the CONR JICO in the daily execution and personnel training of the multi-TDL operation in and around the CONUS which includes working with all U.S. and Canadian military services. Responsible for conducting the continued planning, re-planning and problem resolution to establish, execute, and maintain an effective long-term CONR data link architecture and OPTASKLINK in the face of technology change, increasing amount of data link assets, and increasingly complex operational interoperability issues. Responsible to maintain an understanding of the various weapon systems' data link capabilities and limiting factors with regards to protocols, bandwidth, and message implementation. Responsible to maintain functional knowledge of AOC command and control (C2) equipment in the nee cell and HCC equipment room. This includes operations, test and training with regards to appropriate message filters, network data load, crypto, assigned frequency, and network timing. Responsible to act as the watch officer responsible for the daily operation of the nee and for providing an accurate single integrated air picture (SIAP) to all network participants in and around the CONUS to maintainairspace control and safety of flight for operational and training assets. Authorizes and directs real-time changes to OPTASKLINK parameters to include data load, crypto, frequency, time slots, or network timing to trouble shoot and deconflict multi-TDL operations, test and training across the area of operation. Responsible to execute the JICO duties in the absence of the CONR JICO. Responsible to identify the TDL current and future information exchange requirements for the various systems missions tasked by our leadership.

As a Theater Aerospace Operations Command and Control Officer, GS-2101-12, you will administer refresher and advanced training to ANG military AOC weapons systems positional specialists. Instructs rated pilots, navigators, air battle managers, space operations specialists, and other AOC assigned personnel in advanced aerospace operations applications using current AOC systems of record. Instructs and evaluates all AOC specialists to become instructors. Instructs such personnel to function within established joint doctrinal principles to plan and prosecute theater-level joint operations. Monitors progress during training and advises when AOC personnel are ready for positional certification.

As a IT Specialist (CUSTSPT), GS-2210-09/11, you will manage the assigned IT/communications environment with privileged access at the network level for the Wing, Geographically Separated Units (GSU), and Tenants. Plans, coordinates, installs, and continuously analyzes system design, hardware and software. Develops, recommends, and installs solutions and upgrades to ensure availability, integrity, efficiency, and reliability of all components of the assigned system. Provides Information Assurance systems support for all disciplines, ensuring the rigorous application of information security/information assurance policies, principles, and practices in the delivery of network services. Performs system audits to assess security parameters and performance of IA controls within the network environment.

As a Supervisory Facility Operations Specialist, GS-1640-11, you will Personnel Management. Incumbent typically supervises the following personnel and their functions: Production Control (Construction), Production Controller, Power Production Technician, Water & Fuels Maintenance Technician, CE Supply Technician, State Superintendent, Administrative Assistant and all maintenance and state accounting personnel. Through the application of management principles, incumbent interviews applicants, selects employees, and promotes good working conditions. Determines the type of personnel required to operate and maintain facilities, evaluates employee effectiveness and identify training needs, provides formal or on-the-job instruction in building operation and maintenance functions. Develops specific position descriptions and/or performance standards unique to the base facilities, equipment, and mission. As a BUDGET OFFICER (TITLE 32), GS-0560-12, you will operate the Resource Management System, a network of commanders, resource advisors, cost center managers, and technical advisors aligned to the Wing/GSU organizational structure and oriented towards the management of appropriated funds and workdays for the accomplishment of unit missions. Provides resource managers with necessary guidance, information, knowledge, and training to accomplish mission goals and objectives. Designs presentation materials for, chairs, conducts, and documents the quarterly meetings of the Financial Working Group (FWG). Designs materials for, briefs, and documents the quarterly Financial Management Board (FMB). Designs, develops, conducts, and documents resource management training for all personnel responsible for the management and expenditure of appropriated funds and workdays. Training includes initial review or continuation training of resource management processes, procedures, and requirements. Maintains the training records for all resource managers. Ensures that continuity documentation maintained by organizational resource managers is complete, up-to-date, and relevant.

As a IT Cybersecurity Specialist (INFOSEC), GS-2210-12, you will serve as an Information Technology Specialist providing Cybersecurity for an Air National Guard Wing's SAP or Sensitive Compartmented Information Facility (SCIF) infrastructure. Operates within the DoD, Air Force and NGB security procedures, operations, and practices. Ensures systems are operated and maintained IAW AFI 17-101, Joint SAP Implementation Guidance (JSIG), and all applicable command and DOD security directives and procedures. Monitors DoD information security bulletins and notifications as they relate to Information Security Vulnerability Alerts (ISVAs). Coordination is required with peer Wing contacts, MAJCOM elements, and commercial vendors. Coordinates with the Gaining Command on intelligence elements (collections, analysis and/or targeting) needed to carry out coordination and liaison with counterparts and colleagues in such other major command intelligence organizations as Air Combat Command (ACC), Air Mobility Command (AMC), Air National Guard Bureau Headquarters (NGB), United States Air Forces Europe (USAFE), Pacific Air Forces (PACAF) and such other governmental agencies as Director of National Intelligence (DNI), Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA), National Security Agency (NSA), U.S. Space Command (SPACECOM), Air Force Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance Agency (AFISR Agency), and the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA).
