Job Details

• Setting and managing colleagues annual and monthly objectives, ensuring each colleagues receives a monthly 121 to address performance and offer support
  
• Ensuring that annual PDRs (performance development reviews) are conducted within timeframes expected by the business
  
• Managing all HR related issues in line with our best practices
  
• Supporting colleagues with monthly coaching and development plans and deliver effective monthly team meetings
  
• Ensuring colleagues are accurately reserved in-line with our reserving philosophy and ensuring payments are authorised in-line with our departmental SLA's
  
• Managing adherence to departmental work condition reporting and ensuring colleagues adhere to departmental SLA's

• Co-owner of our steerage model, ensuring repair vs total loss decisions are based on the best indemnity and customer outcomes
  
• Contributing and executing an engineering strategy which delivers engineering services at the lowest appropriate and class-leading cost
  
• Using data to enable fast and effective decision making for the whole team to drive change, identifying and mitigating risks associated with all changes and recommendations
  
• Building key stakeholder relationships to allow the smooth implementation of change as quickly and effectively as possible

• Working with accountable business owners to drive strategic alignment between the business and our supplier base, aligning strategic objectives and defining the strategic roadmap

You will be responsible for building a culture of excellence within your team by giving clear guidance and making sure colleagues know how important their role is in delivering our business strategy. Working Hours/ Shift Patterns: You'll work 37.5 hours a week on a rotating shift pattern between 08:00-19:00 Monday to Friday, 9:00 - 17:00 Saturday, and 09:00-13:00 Sunday. You will have to work one full weekend and one Saturday in every 5. If you work a weekend shift, you'll get time off in lieu. Training: The first 4 weeks will consist of full time in the office training, once you have completed your training you will move to hybrid working, this will consist of at least one day a week in the office with your team and for any other meetings or events as required. Location: Our fantastic Leicester office which is in the city centre and only a short walk from Leicester train station. Salary: A fulltime role of 37.5 hours per week pays £31,000. Knowledge & Experience:

Job Details

• Developing and delivering a holistic Voice of Customer (VoC) programme covering customer feedback through interactions, journeys and review sites
  
• Ensuring we're asking the right customers, the right questions, at the right time and through the right channels and ensuring appropriate controls for survey content, volumes, segmentation etc.
  
• Ensuring all data inputs and outputs are accurate and meet business needs, and partnering with the CX, data and insights teams to make the best use of VoC outputs to deliver actionable insight
  
• Championing a customer first attitude, whilst challenging what we do now and how we operate in the future to gain the best experience for our customers whilst supporting Hastings Direct to achieve key goals
  
• Leading the development and implementation of processes, approaches and tools that strengthen our VoC capability and ensure best practice (survey branding, fatigue rules, sampling rules, closed loop etc.)
  
• Embedding awareness and understanding with stakeholders, driving and supporting the use of Customer feedback into day-to-day practices across Hastings Direct
  
  
  

Skills we would love you to have

• Strong experience of running a company-wide Voice of Customer programme, with a strong understanding of VoC data outputs and how to work these to drive actionable insight and value
  
• Experience of working collaboratively with analytics teams to deliver impactful tailored reporting and dashboards at all levels
  
• Genuinely passionate about putting data-driven customer insight at the heart of the organisation and able to translate and shape the ambiguous and often complex ideas or outcomes into simple and easily understood outputs

Job Details

• Supporting the design and setting of our technical strategy in relation to the Indemnity Team, with a view to identify all indemnity breach customers through the use of data and modelling
  
• Supporting the forecasting and budgeting activity across claims which includes setting and managing 'trading' performance for a core aspect of the customer journey
  
• Developing appropriate strategies to tackle any market or competitor risks and capitalising on any opportunities this may bring
  
• Identifying performance improvement opportunities, identifying and developing business cases for key changes across claims
  
• Supporting the optimisation of commercial strategies and ensuring that the commercial team anticipate challenges and develop counter measures to negative contractual breach customer behaviours and trends

• Experience of handling motor claims, including strong knowledge of indemnity to include Road Traffic Act, Article 75, the MIB agreements and workings and a strong understanding of insurer status and how to leverage that

• Maintaining the central transformation portfolio plan (across all tech and non-tech change, including all delivery and commercial plans and how it all comes together)

Job Details

• Managing a team of 4 direct reports to support the management of our contact centre suppliers
  
• Chairing service review/performance management meetings, focusing on delivery against high performing targets
  
• Being the operations experts on outsourcing opportunities and working with senior stakeholders to execute plans
  
• Being the key contact for senior operational stakeholders/escalations including performance improvements, risk and engagement
  
• Managing risk and change effectively across our contact centre outsource partnerships, ensuring all risks are controlled
  
• Working extensively with outsource contact centre contracts and contract variations
  
  

Skills you will need

• Experience of working with/managing outsource relationships or operations, including management of productive/attended hour contracts
  
• Experience in operational performance management and being accountable for action plans to improve
  
• Confident with data analysis and able to tell a clear story through PowerPoint packs
  
• Excellent stakeholder management experience and a real team player, with the ability to understand conflicting priorities at once and work to find solutions for key stakeho

Job Details

• Agreeing and formalising a straightforward and effective incident management process for the department, ensuring all relevant stakeholders are aware and engaged in the process as needed
  
• Coordinating across all relevant teams and stakeholders in the vent of an impacting incident to quickly ascertain impact levels for customers, colleagues and the business, communicating between the departmental teams and the wider Hastings Direct incident and crisis teams
  
• Coordinating and leading post-incident reviews, ensuring any learnings from incidents can be used to improve processes and controls to prevent future instances, along with any risk and business continuity updates
  
• Logging all incidents on the relevant platform and feeding back summary information to relevant Process Improvement Leads and any other relevant stakeholders to ensure full feedback loops for awareness and further improvement
  
• Working with senior stakeholders for each process to ensure clear, straightforward and easily accessible business continuity plans are in place, aligned to customer, colleague and business requirements, with all relevant parties aware of any actions needed in the event of a business interruption
  
• Driving through any business continuity actions needed across all processes to ensure these are fully effective, with clear understanding across all contributing stakeholders and owners
  

Skills we would love you to have

• Experience of operational incident management, ideally within Claims, Insurance, Utilities or Financial Services
  
• The ability to quickly summarise, risk assess and prioritise immediate impact and requirements and able to remain calm and lead coordination efforts in intense situations
  
• The confidence to engage and clearly communicate with stakeholders at all levels
