The primary purpose of this position is: To serve as Chief, Career Development in administering all aspects of the section. This is an Air Reserve Technician (ART) Enlisted position. Supervisory duties are performed less than 25 percent of the work year.

Duties:
1. Plans, directs, and controls all aspects of the Career Development programs for both Active Guard Reserve (AGR) and unit reservists.
2. Manages the Air Force Active Guard/Reserve (AGR) Program. May be required to perform Installation Personnel Readiness duties and/or assist as directed.
3. Administers actions in Automated Reserve Orders Writing System-Reserves (AROWS-R).
4. Serves as advisor to commanders on unit human resources (military) programs. Ensures accuracy of Personnel Data System (PDS) and performs functional review of data reliability
5. Provides human resources management (military) advisory services to commanders and staff on all Career Development programs. Performs personnel supervisory/management responsibilities.

• Directly assists the Flight Chief in management of administrative office support programs.
• Performs a variety of technical tasks related to budget execution and records maintenance for the flight.
• Serves as the flight liaison for supplies, equipment control, and property accountability.

The primary purpose of this position is: To serve as an Air Reserve Technician (ART) work leader and aircraft Dedicated Crew Chief over a crew of three or more workers/mechanics. In this capacity, the work leader/crew chief coordinates and oversees all maintenance/scheduled inspections performed on his/her assigned aircraft. While performing such duties is considered as being the technical authority of the assigned aircraft, providing instructional guidance, making work arrangements, and ensuring the production pace is maintained. Performs non-leader trades and labor work as a member of the work crew. Trains reservists in the accomplishment of duties and responsibilities set forth herein.

Duties:

1. Serves as a Work Leader/Dedicated Crew Chief of assigned aircraft, responsible for effectively coordinating and/or overseeing maintenance, troubleshooting, positioning, appearance and servicing of the aircraft. Responsible for the total airworthiness of the assigned aircraft.
2. Performs and/or oversees aircraft inspections including preflight, post flight, phase, acceptance, and other scheduled and unscheduled inspections.
3. Provides technical supervision on production matters to all employees assigned to the crew/team, which may include 1ctive duty, ARTs, civilians, and others.
4. Enforces and complies with safety practices and procedures following established safety rules and regulations and maintains a safe and clean work area.
5. Leads erification and certification of work processes and procedures and adequacy of work- accomplished by q alified mechanics and trainees.

The primary purpose of this position is: To remove, install, modify, overhaul, maintain, troubleshoot, repair, align, calibrate, and rebuild multi-system avionics complexes consisting of multiple completely integrated electronic avionics systems where the complex accomplishes a number of major functions.

Duties:

2. Performs pretest, operational (functional), or final testing of electronic systems, components, or subassemblies.

4. Advises engineering personnel on the operation and maintenance effects of proposed Time Compliance Technical Orders (TCTO) and/or modifications on new or existing equipment; Complies with security procedures, regulations and policies.

6. Prepares/executes effective training plans to maximize training.

• As part of an Integrated Acquisition Team for an installation, or for development or sustainment of a system or smaller multiple systems within an installation, Direct Reporting Unit (DRU), Field Operating Agency (FOA), specialized unit, etc., plans the overall approach to meet contracting program objectives for a variety of requirements with multiple complexities.

The primary purpose of this position is: to serve as an Air Reserve Technician (ART) to test, troubleshoot, repair and modify aircraft pneudraulic systems and to provide training to reservists in the accomplishment of tasks set forth therein.

DUTIES:
Duty 1 - Conducts scheduled periodic maintenance inspections on all hydraulically operated systems on aircraft.
Duty 2 - Troubleshoots all hydraulic systems on both local and transient aircraft.
Duty 3 - Makes initial technical order changes and follow-ups by bench tests.
Duty 4 - Utilizes safety practices and procedures and complies with security regulations, directives, and policies.
Duty 5 - Controls tools. Ensures tools are properly marked, calibrated (if necessary), and are secured when area is unattended.

The primary purpose of this position is: as an Air Reserve Technician (ART) to administer, schedule, and conduct flight and ground training which
develops, upgrades, and evaluates the skills of loadmaster aircrew members; to perform aircrew duties as instructor loadmaster in the unit type aircraft and to perform related staff support duties; to train reservists in these duties.

Duties:
1. Develops and provides technical loadmaster upgrade and proficiency training/instruction to Reserve aircrew member and ART personnel.
2. Conducts flight and ground training which develops, upgrades, and evaluates the skills of loadmaster aircrew members.
3. Accomplishes preflight inspection of aerospace ground equipment and applies external power to the aircraft. Accomplishes pre-flight inspection of the aircraft and cargo/airdrop systems according to flight manual procedures. Accomplishes passenger briefings to include the use of emergency equipment, evacuation procedures, and border clearance requirements.
4. Directs the placement of material handling equipment to accomplish cargo on/off loading operations.
5. Computes and completes aircraft weight and balance documentation either manually or electronically.

Composes and signs correspondence of a nontechnical nature in the supervisor's name or in own name as secretary.

DUTY 1:Plans, organizes and directs the activities of the Air Force Reserve Command Protocol Office, ensuring that the command complies with legal and regulatory requirements and meets customer needs.

DUTY 2:Coordinates and implements all official functions for senior. HQ Air Force Reserve personnel.

DUTY 3:Represents HQ AFRC with other installation/ functional area organizations, outside government and community agencies and all sanctioned DV visits.

DUTY 4:Maintains custodial control of the Commander's Official Representation Funds (ORF) gift locker and gift fund.

DUTY 5:Exercises supervisory personnel management responsibilities.

The primary purpose of this position is to serve as an Air Reserve Technician (ART) officer, to serve as the Executive Officer for the group senior ART. The primary purpose of the position is to administer and direct the group's executive support functions and to ensure that day-to-day operations comply with the policies of the senior ART and command.

DUTIES:
1. Serves as the executive advisor on programs and initiatives within the group. Interprets and translates command and supervisor's written or expressed policy and relays to individuals to assist in resolving operational problems.
2. Performs a variety of staff studies concerning group programs and program support effectiveness resulting from regulatory changes, new technology, program/mission changes, recurring requirements, and others.
3. Represents the senior ART concerning group plans, special events, projects, etc., to communicate senior ART's policies and to explain the interests of the group in regard to local activities or projects.
4. Manages group resources for executive support, services and activities. Conducts management studies, inquiries, and surveys to determine support requirements and to measure the effectiveness of existing structures in meeting objectives.
5. Maintains oversight of and has overall responsibility for the inspection program as it relates to the group and directs the conduct of inspection activities. Represents the senior ART commander in all matters pertaining to inspections and keeps him fully informed. Exercise supervisory personnel management responsibilities (less than 25% of the time). This duty is only applicable if the position is coded with a supervisory level code "4".

Plans, organizes, and directs the activities of the Group Commander's Support Staff (CSS), ensuring that CSS complies with legal and regulatory requirements and meets customer needs.

Manages training programs for administration (3A1XX) and personnel (3SOXX) in accordance with established command guidelines.

Serves as the Group point of contact and liaison with the servicing Force Support Squadron on personnel and manpower actions. Participates in special studies and projects relating to planning, coordinating, and analyzing the effectiveness/efficiency of the Group CSS in meeting Air Force Administration program goals.
