The Role

Smart Energy is seeking a dynamic, results-driven Solar and Battery Sales Manager to lead our Byron Bay office. This role is responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the sales team, driving growth in residential and commercial solar and battery storage systems, and ensuring the highest level of customer satisfaction. Set and manage individual and team KPIs, driving continuous improvement and accountability.

Develop and execute strategies to grow the solar and battery business in the Byron Bay region.

Identify new business opportunities, including residential, commercial, and large-scale solar projects.

Requirements

At least 4 years of proven experience in sales management

At least 4 years of sales experience in the solar and battery industry in Australia.

At least 4 years of experience managing a sales team within the renewable energy sector.

Understanding of government rebates, feed-in tariffs, and other incentives relevant to solar and battery installations.

At least 4 years of proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth.

At least 4 years of demonstrated track record of managing and motivating high-performing teams.
