• Lead the planning, coordination, and delivery of key activities related to the Next Gen Talent programmes, ensuring they are executed on time and within scope.

About this opportunity

An exciting opportunity has become available to join the Model Risk and Validation team (MRAV) within Lloyds Banking Group's Risk division. The role will give you responsibility for independent model review and technical validation across the Retail and Commercial divisions with a degree of flexibility to work across the MRAV teams. The scope is wide and covers Retail and Commercial Credit, Market Risk and Asset Liability Management across both Regulatory and Non-Regulatory models.

This is a superb opportunity to develop areas of knowledge relating to the Group's modelling capability and build a strong network of contacts.

Day to day you'll:

• Assisting with independent reviews of all aspects of Lloyds Banking Group models, including new developments, model changes, periodic validations and ongoing monitoring.

• Independent Validation (partial or complete recoding, custom analysis or development of challenger models)

• Support independent review and challenge of model developments (data profiling, selection, validation, back-testing, stress testing and model documentation)

• Detailed evaluation of models, including their: design, calibration and validation, operation, usage, reporting, and governance

• Documentation of validation findings, providing insight and evaluation of weaknesses and making recommendations for improvements

• Presentation of independent model review to senior members of the team and Personal Approver

• Enhance knowledge of model risk and regulatory requirements and standards pertaining to risk models

• Regular engagement with colleagues across the Group to manage relationships, influence decision makers and challenge constructively

What you'll need

• Experience: Model build experience and/or independent validation within a financial services organisation, using Python, SAS, C/C++ or R

About this opportunity:

The Propositions team looks after the management and development of our Workplace savings offering. This includes the strategic and day to day planning of the design, maintenance and delivery of key proposition elements, the development and communication of the future roadmap, and monitoring the market to drive business insights.

We're looking for a Propositions Manager who'll play a key part in shaping the development of our Take to Market activity and development of some of our key proposition deliveries.

Our team understands what makes the difference to customers, clients and advisers to enable positive customer outcomes and win/retain schemes. Your mix of knowledge, skills and expertise will enable you to identify needs, taking complex developments and translating them into clear communications and insights. You'll use your knowledge and interpersonal skills to influence and manage a variety of key topics, engaging a broad range of audiences.

What you'll be doing:

• Act as a specialist in the Workplace proposition and help build and maintain our offering to win in our markets.

• Applying knowledge to lead and manage the Take to Market plan for new developments which supports colleague understanding, new business opportunities, business retention and media impact, to help deliver our business objectives.

• Support the creation and development of the proposition roadmap and related materials to ensure accurate and up to date information is available to internal colleagues and external partners.

• Drive market insights drawing on competitor intelligence, internal data, analytics and research to build our knowledge base and data led approach to proposition development.

• Act as key contact for Workplace related campaigns, thought leadership initiatives and events, and overview of Marketing plan to maintain representation and prioritisation of Workplace activity.

• Risk management and compliance with regulatory requirements and Group procedures to avoid financial or reputational loss to the Group through poor customer or business outcomes.
