An exciting opportunity has become available to join the Education & OD Team, who are looking for an enthusiastic, motivated individual to support the implementation and provision of education and organisational development Initiatives across the organisation.
If you have a passion for training and organisational development, then you may be the ideal candidate to undertake this exciting new role.
As the Education & OD Facilitator you will work alongside the department leads to design, implement and deliver training interventions to meet relevant national initiatives and the needs of the organisation. You will also support the implementation of a range of new and exciting initiatives and benefits for staff across the organisation.

The post holder is primarily responsible for devising, preparing, and delivering training interventions and assessments to meet organisation needs and initiatives.
To take a strategic role in enhancing the capacity, and quality of education for all Trust staff, in partnership with key stakeholders.
Identify organisational training needs through an annual Training Needs Analysis, supporting and contributing to other educational activity as appropriate.
Deputises for the Head of Learning & Development as required.

Main duties and responsibilities
Undertake annual Trust-wide Learning Needs Analysis to inform educational & OD requirements and costings.
Designing, develop, implement and evaluate a range of OD programmes, prioritising leadership development and culture change.
Policy and service development
• Support the development of policies relating to own area, i.e. organisational development, leadership & management.
• Write business cases, funding proposals and bids, as and when require
Financial and/or physical resources
• Negotiates with education providers around complex pricing structures to ensure the organisation receives best value for money and return on investment.
• Manage the education providers and contracts with a total value up to £500k.
Staff management/leadership/training
• Support, advise and guide the education teams in facilitating centralised education & OD function with efficient processes and procedures.
• Organise/support Education & OD events.
Information resources / data inputting
• Inputs information on annual NHSE Education Self-Assessment document directly via the NHSE portal.
• Uses OLM and ESR extensively.
Research and Development
• Research new educational modules and programmes across the region and beyond.
• Support managers in finding alternative education providers when required.
