Morgan Hunt are currently recruiting for a Head of Finance/ Finance Director in London on a full time permanent basis with major Regulatory body. This Head of Finance role is paying up to £75,000 per annum.
The Head of Finance will be providing strong financial acumen, collaborating closely with the SLT and other senior stakeholders to drive plan delivery. Additionally, you will lead finance transformation projects while providing business insight and advice and monitor progress against business plans.
Main Responsibilities of the Finance Business Partner:
- Develop FP&A models to support the strategic plan.
- Prepare Annual budgets and forecasts with Departmental heads.
- Regularly report financial performance to the CEO and other board members
- Oversee all aspects of financial management and the team.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements, tax, and audit.
- Work collaboratively with the SLT to develop a long-term financial strategy.
- Mentor and manage a small finance team.
Person Specification of the Finance Business Partner:
- Hold a relevant degree or professional qualification from recognised accountancy bodies (e.g., CIMA/ACCA/ACACPA
- Have experience in senior financial management within a similar business, demonstrating stakeholder relationship-building skills. Preferably in a similar sector.
- Demonstrate expertise in leading financial planning and analysis for budgeting and forecasting processes.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret complex financial data.
- Possess a curious mindset, capable of identifying and investigating risks, and proposing practical solutions within the business context.
- Communicate effectively across various stakeholder levels.
