This role will be required to act as the Senior Financial accountant for the Gillingham site and the main

contact for the UK legal entity for the completion of the Statutory accounts. The split is currently envisaged

to be around 50/50.

The Senior Financial accountant part of the role revolves around supporting both the site Financial

Controller and the Finance team in the production of monthly and annual reporting and ensuring

coordinating the updating and documenting of current process alongside this.

The Statutory accounting part of the role revolves around the co-ordination, preparation and ownership of

the Legal Entity's Statutory accounts and other statutory returns including tax. This includes the initial

through to ensuring timely completion and filing. This role is also the main point of contact for any

reporting and queries relating the entity's Tax position.

The Legal entity in question is made up of 3 stand alone trial balances in 3 locations which would require

co-ordination with the relevant Financial controllers and local finance teams.

The client also requires you to have knowledge of GAAP and Sarbannes Oxley, with financial reporting experience within a multinational company environment.
