The successful candidate will need to undertake and possess:

- Analyse and assess tractor engineering graphs to ensure functionality and diagnosis is in accordance with manufacturing specifications
- Test mechanical equipment to ensure proper function, identify faults
- Repair defective engines or engine components
- Dismantle defective machine and components for repairs
- Reassemble machines and equipment following repair, testing operations and make adjustments
- Maintain repair and maintenance records
- Installing equipment, machines, wiring or programs to meet specifications
- Ensuring timely completion of all repairs
- Repairing , servicing and maintaining a wide variety of agricultural equipment and machinery such as, cultivation equipment, spray units, harvest equipment, milking equipment and machinery
- All other duties as required by management


Skills and Abilities:

- Must have a Mechanical Engineering Diploma or relevant
- Minimum of 4 years experience in relevant field
- Proven experience working on plant/equipment in an agricultural environment
