Base Location: Flexible Scotland | We're proud to offer a Flexible First approach to work, and this role is no exception. We will, however need your base 'home' location to be one of our SSEN offices or depots around Scotland.
Salary: £38,700 - £58,100 + {car /car allowance} + {performance-related bonus} + a range of benefits to support your finances, wellbeing and family.

Reporting to the Offshore Logistics Manager, the Logistics Supervisor is a role within the Offshore Directorate Marine Function responsible for ensuring SSEN Transmission and contractors logistics provision will provide a flawless delivery for onshore and offshore construction activities.
The position will support delivery of logistics across land/sea/air material movements, project accommodation needs, vessel operations, shore base management, and support supply chain in procurement of services for projects.
The Key Duties & Responsibilities Will Be
- Liaise between the Marine Function, Project Teams, and relevant Principal Contractors and subcontractors responsible for all elements of Logistics delivery.
- Implement SSENT logistics strategy across onshore and offshore construction projects ensuring best practice in logistics management, enhancing the safety, efficiency, and sustainability of logistics operations.
- Manage coordination of SSENT personnel, material, equipment, and supply chain, set up as necessary in conjunction with various contractors, agencies and support teams for large capital projects delivery including Facilitate vessel port calls, mobilisations, quayside operations, warehousing/laydown and ships agency provision.
- The role will oversee contractor supplied Logistics position across projects, support the development and implementation of Project Logistics Plans and will attend projects in support of the preparation and execution of logistics activities, such as project mobilisations and transformer deliveries.
What do I need?
To be considered for this role, we would love you to have:
- Substantial experience in the Offshore Energy industry with extensive experience in logistics support for marine operations.
- Proven track record in managing the Logistics provision on complex and major projects across the different logistics disciplines with direct involvement in coordinating vessel port calls, mobilisations, quayside operations and problem-solving where plans evolve.
- Personal commitment and proactive approach to SHES, quality and Continuous Improvement.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate at all levels, a strong team player.
- Self-motivated with good organisational and time management skills, ability to perform well under pressure of tight deadlines and an aptitude to innovate and be open to new idea.
