Assists in the inspection of all MCCS activities to determine compliance with applicable regulations and procedures.  Upon direction, performs unannounced inspections/audits of cash registers and funds.  Prepares written and/or oral reports as prescribed noting discrepancies and makes recommendations for corrective action to the Director, Compliance and Risk Management.

Upon direction by supervisor, performs examinations of accounts and records of the MCCS Division for the purpose of proving their accuracy, authenticity and compliance with directives.  Reports on conditions that cause or contribute to inefficient operations.  Prepares written reports which contain recommendations for corrective action to outline fully the results of inspections.

Assists in the completion of annual and periodic inventories of all MCCS Activities.  Assists in preparing and publishing inventory procedures, instructions and guidance. Monitors the conduct of all inventories to ensure compliance with directives. As directed, examines and evaluates the facts and circumstances of any excessive inventory variances or other losses, when not otherwise being investigated by an investigating official, to determine causes.  Recommends appropriate corrective action.  Ensures routine check of contractors and concessionaires including cash verification, cleanliness, and quality control.  Prepares written reports of findings.  May conduct loss prevention inspections for all MCCS Activities. Assists in the audit and inventory tracking for the Retail firearms department.

As directed, reviews and recommends operational revisions and changes to MCCS Letters of Instruction, bulletins and procedures which are relative to the furtherance of the MCCS organization¿s mission. Reviews reports of audits and surveys and recommends necessary corrective action.  Assures investigation of any reported cash register, cash, internal controls, inventory or property discrepancies.

Supports the store team in the planning and execution of specific brand standards. Serves as a resource for key processes such as: price changes, floor sets, weekly ad set and signing. Responsible for the weekly ad set process. Supports the execution of key corporate tasks and promotional programs and strategies in partnership with the Store Manager. Partners with Brand Integrity Specialist or designated Retail Manager to scope, plan and lead department transitions, resets and manage the general merchandising strategy of product placement and rotation. Reports to the Store Manager.

Supports the cultivation of a brand-ready store ¿ supporting efforts on establishing, maintaining and promoting branded visual and informational experiences within the store. Supports the Brand Integrity Manager¿s execution of promotional strategies within the store from a merchandising, signing and brand integrity lens. Works with the Training Specialist to ensure proper training of Brand Integrity Team Members to include training related to service, service recovery, merchandising, signing and visual display creation. Actively coaches Brand Integrity Team Members providing knowledge and support. Model's best practices and behaviors for all members of the Brand Integrity Team. Observes and delegates task completion and other team deadlines; accordingly, accurately planning the workload to achieve the desired outcome. Consistently champions, communicates and represents MCX brand standards. Communicates effectively with other store teams to address deficiencies with brand standards while providing coaching and positive reinforcement to all store team members.  Ensures the successful execution of corporate service programs, promotions and other events as well as daily and weekly Dress Blue Experience standards at all customer touchpoints.

• Support efforts to prevent child abuse and domestic abuse, including public awareness and  information and education specifically directed toward potential victims, alleged abusers, non-offending family members, and mandated reporters of child abuse and neglect.
• Provide instruction to small groups and large classes in issues related to marriage enhancement, positive parenting, anger management, stress management, communication skills, conflict resolution, domestic abuse prevention and awareness,  and child abuse prevention and awareness.
• Develop and facilitate briefings and classes to commands and other military agencies on domestic abuse and child abuse in order to promote healthy family interactions and reduce incidents. 
• Obtain factual information to provide information, explain regulatory and legal requirements, and recommend process improvement in regards to the prevention of and response to child abuse and domestic abuse. Cooks and prepares a variety of grilled or fried food, placing prepared items on counters, steam tables and dining room tables.  Operates a variety of kitchen equipment, such as oven, grill, broiler, deep fat fryer, slicing machine, etc.  Assembles sandwiches and other food products according to specific guidelines and is aware of holding times/temperatures.   May be required to package prepared food for off-premise consumption.  May be required to serve food cafeteria-style to patrons or serve tables¿ family-style by placing dishes of food on tables and refilling as necessary. 

May unload food from delivery trucks and move heavy garbage cans. 

• May operate cash register and be responsible for own change fund.  Counts and turns in change funds and daily receipts.  Cleans and maintains a neat and orderly work area.  May assist in requisitioning food supplies from various sources.  
• Maintains accurate food inventories and rotates stock items to prevent spoilage. Covers, dates and stores leftovers according to established procedures.  Complies with fire, safety, sanitation, and security regulations. 
• May train new employees in food preparation, on job safety practices, operation of cash register and sanitation regulations regarding food storage and sanitation. Cleans equipment in kitchen and dining areas.  
• Washes dishes, pots, pans, coffee urn, glasses, and flatware. 
• Operates mechanical dishwasher. Maintains water and detergent levels in dishwasher; removes strainer pans, inspection doors, etc., for proper cleaning of dishwasher, inside and out; removes calcium deposits as required; and restores room to orderliness.  
• May assist lower graded food service workers.

• Applies a standard body of Human Resources knowledge, rules, and procedures to perform technical support work in the areas of staffing, benefits, and background checks.  Assignments include but are not limited to:  keying new hires, providing information on and processing benefits, conducting employee benefits briefs for new and departing employees, employee out-processing, gathering facts involving routine HR work in the above specialty areas, initiating suitability adjudications, and processing personnel actions.  Reviews HR and organizational documents for accuracy and completeness, ensuring compliance with applicable federal, state and organizational legal and policy requirements.
