The Role
Access Bolton is looking for positive, enthusiastic and professional individuals to join our team. We have been established as Bolton Council’s Contact Centre and One Stop Shop based in Bolton Town Hall for over 20 years.
We deal with varying enquiries across many council services including Council Tax, Benefits, Planning, Registrars, Bins and Recycling both over the phone and face-to-face. We offer competitive rates of pay against industry standard and, as a call centre, we are unique in that we do not work evenings, weekends or Bank Holidays. Our office is friendly with a focus on great customer service and a supportive culture.
We have full-time and part-time vacancies.
Our full-time roles comprise of a 37-hour week, Monday to Friday working flexible shifts between the hours of 08:00 17:30.
Our part time shifts comprise of three days per week with working hours of 09:30 15:30 totalling 18 hours per week. These days will be fixed to Monday - Wednesday or Wednesday Friday.
Our hybrid working arrangements offer a popular variance of the face to face, social benefits of working from the office alongside the work/life balance of home working. Candidates will need to be flexible in being able to work from both locations as required and available to work fully from the office for the first twelve weeks whilst in training.
About You
This is a can be a challenging role so you will need to be motivated, resilient and willing to learn.
You will pride yourself on providing excellent customer service and respond positively to working under pressure.
Excellent communication skills and a positive attitude are essential. You will need to be numerate, literate and have good IT skills.
