What you'll be doing:

You'll be a highly organised individual with a knack for managing administrative tasks in a fast-paced environment with a proactive nature.

As a dedicated Business Assistant reporting to the Personal Assistant, you will provide comprehensive and confidential administrative support to our Commercial Heads of Operations and Business Development Director. Duties will include:

• Providing daily administrative support to Head of Operations / Director, including support with some diary scheduling and email monitoring and organise travel arrangements as and when required
  
• Supporting with organising events and preparing documents for meetings
  
• Deliver administration with a solution-focused mindset, striving to problem solve and think outside of the box
  
• Ensuring the accurate inputting of data and raising of purchase orders as needed
  
• Deal proficiently with any queries to find a suitable resolution and to support the PA with ad hoc administration requests

What you'll be doing:



This is a split role between the operational finance team and the investment and growth team, where in addition to the production of management accounts, you will also be producing financial models to aid in bids and tenders. This role will give the opportunity to develop both key management accounting skills as well as a degree of business partnering and financial modelling.

Management Accounts

• Monthly Management Accounts including General Ledger entries, Accruals, Prepayment and Reconciliations
  
• Quarterly and Year End Reporting
  
• Monthly analysis and investigation of P&L Variances
  
• Intercompany Reconciliation
  
• Balance Sheet Reconciliations - analysis and review of the balance sheet items
  
• Forecasting and Budgeting
  
• Fixed Asset Reviews
  
• Maintain data used for Management Accounts purposes
  

Investment and Growth

• Support the wider growth team in preparing financial models in support of bids and tenders throughout the Veolia IWE business, covering a range of business streams.
  
• Partner with business development and operational teams to deliver accurate and robust bid submissions, ensuring projects meet Veolia commercial and financial governance requirements
  
• Develop an understanding of the key financial considerations for bid submissions to ensure correct accounting treatment of financial bid submissions
  

You will also be expected to undertake ad hoc project work as required/identified and remain compliant with all Veolia policies and procedures





What we're looking for:

• Part Qualified ACCA/CIMA with experience in management accounting essential
  
• An individual with excellent verbal and written communication skills to provide industry-leading customer service to all internal and external customers.
  
• Excellent accuracy and attention to detail
  
• Competent Excel And Computer Skills are required including Knowledge of GSuite
  
• Experience with Workday and Adaptive Insights would be an advantage
