We have an exciting position for a Senior Lead - Programme Management to join our FA Education division.

The Senior Lead - Programme Management is responsible for establishing and overseeing the programme management framework and approach aligned to the FA Learning Strategy. This role sets the standard for programme governance, enabling and ensuring a cross-functional way of working to drive progress against strategic priorities. This role will lead the upskilling of the FA Learning division on effective programme and project management practices.

What will you be doing?

• Design, implement and manage the overarching framework for programme management and governance across FA Learning; ensuring the approach is aligned with the strategic priorities of the division and that it fosters effective cross-functional collaboration and programme delivery.
• Develop and manage strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure effective collaboration between teams, departments and divisions, in pursuit of FA Learning's strategic priorities whilst ensuring that FA Learning is effectively represented in cross-organisational initiatives.
• Collaborate closely with the Head of Strategy, Insight and Programme Management to conduct effective strategy, business and financial planning cycles.
• Oversee the implementation and ongoing management of a risk framework that identifies, tracks and mitigates risk across FA Learning.
• Oversee the monthly reporting process, in alignment with timeframes and requirements set by the Business Management Group and ensure progress is effectively communicated to all key stakeholders.
• Line manage two Programme Managers, ensuring they are well-equipped to deliver priority programmes by helping them to address challenges, identify risks, and drive successful outcomes.
• Lead initiatives to train and upskill the FA Learning division in project and programme management, helping to ensure that key programme management and governance principles are embedded across the division, enabling better project outcomes and a more collaborative approach to strategic execution.
• Collaborate closely with Strategic Insight Leads to develop and maintain a measurement and reporting framework, ensuring that this framework is used to monitor and evidence progress against strategic priorities, enabling insight informed decision making.
• Coach and mentor the Programme Management Team and contribute to the broader Strategy, Insight and Programme Management's team growth, utilise 1:1 meetings and provide regular feedback to build capabilities, enhance team performance, and foster a high-performing team culture.
• Stay updated with the latest trends and innovations in programme management.
• Executes additional tasks as required in order to meet FA Group's changing priorities.
• Comply with all company policies and procedures to ensure the highest standards of health, safety and well-being can be maintained.

Our Organisation

Main duties and responsibilities will include:

Job Details:

The following opportunity has arisen for a candidate with the appropriate skills, experience and commitment to work in the shared Benefits Service. Whilst the successful candidate will be based primarily in Cannock, you may be required on occasion to work at sites across the Cannock Chase and Stafford Borough areas.

As part of a busy team you will be required to assist with the day to day supervision of a team responsible for ensuring that benefit and / or support awards, revenue discounts and / or exemptions are properly awarded and subsidy payable is maximised.

You should have experience of assessing all types of claims for Housing and Local Council Tax Reduction claims as well as experience of supervising staff to achieve expected levels of competence.

You must be able to understand and communicate effectively on complex and frequently changing legislation. You must also have knowledge of Housing Benefit and Council Tax Reduction legislation.

The successful applicant will need to have good communication skills, both written and verbal form as well as being able to work accurately and prioritise workloads to enable deadlines to be met. In addition, you should have IT skills in the use of Microsoft Office packages such as Word and Excel.

You should hold GCSE’s at Grade C or above in Mathematics and English (or equivalent academic or vocational experience). You must also be able to work in a team and on your own initiative as well as being willing to undertake training and development to gain detailed knowledge of Council Tax and Housing Benefits.

Any previous experience of working with IBS Housing Benefits and Council Tax Benefits software would also be advantageous to the role.

What you'll be doing:



Due to growth we have an exciting unique opportunity to join the Commercial Finance Team in the position of Senior Management Accountant for the newly created Region of the Commercial Business, Recyclates and Waste Valorisation.



This is a diverse role where the successful candidate will gain experience in multiple areas of the Commercial Business. These areas include Collection depots, RDF and Recovered Paper activities.

Key responsibilities and accountabilities to ensure and meet the demands of the role include:

• Production of monthly management accounts delivered to tight deadlines together with sound analysis and investigation of results and variances for a number of Business Units.
  
• Production of consolidated financial results for Project Indigo.
  
• Assist with the production of the monthly accounts review presentation pack.
  
• Preparing forecasts and budget workings with Business Unit Managers providing support and advice for new projects/contracts when required.
  
• Assist with the production of the F2 & Budget presentations for the Region.
  
• Business partnering with operations to identify growth and efficiency opportunities.
  
• Interaction with key sales staff to analyse commercial tenders in terms of profitability.

What we're looking for:

• Qualified Accountant with 3 years post qualified experience (i.e. CIMA/ACCA/ACA)

• Excellent spreadsheet skills - knowledge of Google Sheets ideal as well as Microsoft Excel

The role of Investment Governance Officer – Global Asset Management (GAM) Canada is accountable for providing investment governance reporting, oversight and support across GAM. Job Description:

Ready to put your project engineer expertise to work on marquee projects that will change the fabric of our communities? Parsons is now hiring a Lead Senior Drainage and SWM Engineer for our rapidly expanding portfolio of projects.   In this role you can expect to work on large design build transit and transportation projects across Canada and Us as part of infrastructure team.

Parsons extensive experience in this field, combined with your advanced project and engineering knowledge, will propel your career forward with opportunity to lead teams.  We need our engineers to be versatile, enthusiastic to work in highly flexible, team-oriented environment and who have exceptional communication, analytical and leadership skills.   In this role you will integrate the various engineering, scheduling, procurement, construction, and startup aspects of a small project.  May manage a subtask of a larger project or study in accordance with contractual obligations.  Responsible for the technical excellence of the engineering functions of the project including coordination of technical disciplines, procurement of materials and equipment, and construction planning assistance. 

Responsibilities:

• Independently leads the drainage component of the projects. This includes but not limited to all phases of design and tendering process for drainage/SWM features of the projects.
• Develops the scope of engineering work, schedules, and budgets for assigned project elements, and monitors progress to meet schedule and budget requirements. 
• Interfaces with procurement and subcontract personnel to facilitate the bid process. Coordinates the utilization of interdisciplinary technical personnel on the project with other Project Engineers.  Coordinates the assignment of personnel from other technical support groups within the company.
• Assists the Project Manager in planning, directing, supervising, and controlling the execution of technical, fiscal, and administrative functions of the project or study. 
• Prepares technical reports and documentation of activity for the client and project management.
• Obtains, analyzes, and circulates technical and contractual information to project disciplines.
• Lead and support proposals and business developments efforts.
• Managing regulatory applications and approvals.
• Complete field assessments, analysis and evaluations as required.
• Provide quality control and independent review of deliverables.
• Provide support for construction activities as project manager, project engineer or contract administrator.
• Provide input to the career development of junior staff, including technical direction, training recommendations, coaching and mentoring
• Performs other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate.

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of related engineering experience, and a broad general engineering background is required
• Degree in Civil Engineering or Water Resources Engineering.
• Professional Engineer registration or eligibility to register with PEO is required.
• Strong understanding of the Ontario engineering consulting market.
• Established contacts and knowledge of the regulatory environment and approvals process would be a notable asset.
• Excellent written and verbal communications skills, with ability to build rapport.
• In-depth understanding of contract administration services and requirements
• A thorough knowledge of current technology and the capabilities and efficiencies of specific engineering software (PC-SWMM, HEC-RAS, SWMHYMO, Visual OTTHYMO, InfoWorks ICM, Civil3D/MicroStation) for use in completing engineering assignments.

Job Description:

Parsons is seeking a Senior Biologist/Planner for our team in Ontario to compliment the Planning and Ecological Services Group in Ontario. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work in the field as required but will primarily be an Office position with flexible office work arrangements.

• Contributing member of the leadership team for Ontario’s Planning and Ecological Services.

• Provide mentorship to intermediate and junior staff members.
• Strong technical writing skills; provide high quality review of technical documents (natural science reports, planning applications, EA documents); report writing, impact assessment, EAs, land development, ecological reporting.
• Manage project workloads, scheduling and coordination
• Client Liaison
• Assists with proposal development, work programs, managing project budgets and invoicing.
• Lead/assist with Project Management/coordination of EA processes
• Lead/assist with Project Management/coordination of planning and environmental permits and approvals

  

Skills & Qualifications:

• 10 + years of experience
• Post-secondary education in any of: planning, environmental science/studies, biology/ecology/Forestry, geography, or related field
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Experience in the collection, analysis, and reporting of field data following established protocols.
• Experience on MTO projects and RAQS Certification (Nature Science, EA Planning Etc.) considered an asset or experience to obtain RAQS certification.
• Solid understanding of Environmental Assessments including Municipal Class EA, Transit Project Assessment Process, Impact Assessment Act, MTO Class EA Process
• Experience with obtaining permits and approvals under the Planning Act, Endangered Species Act, Species at Risk Act, Fisheries Act, Migratory Birds Convention Act, Fish and Wildlife Conservation Act
• Current or past certification as an ISA Certified Arborist or Registered Professional Forester is considered an asset.
• Knowledge of local, provincial and federal environmental policies, legislation and applicable law
• French language considered an asset
• Private sector/consulting experience considered an asset
